We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Paddington train station and the Heathrow Express. The hotel can be accessed directly from Paddington. The room as okay for the rate, but the quality of the decor could be improved as it's starting to show its age. E.g. Marks on the walls, elevators out of service, water pressure was variable.
Even though there is advertised free wifi, we were told that was not included in our room rate.

I stay at this hotel frequently mainly due to the price and location. Rooms are very small but perfectly adequate in comfort. There are no refreshments in the room, no mini bar/ snacks which is irritating when I work after meetings. Overall though, I am happy with the hotel and recommend it

Lovely hotel in a historic, beautiful building with modern and comfortable rooms. What is more impressive, however, are the staff who are all incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Location is also great as it is within walking distance of the high street malls and many restaurants. Highly recommended.

Staff was pleasant, efficient, and helpful. Room was large, clean, well-appointed. King bed was excellent and bathroom facilities clean and functional. I used the gym which has all kinds of cardio, weight machines, and free weights. The terminal was a 3 minute walk.
Used the restaurant for dinner and it was fine.

We enjoyed our stay apart from the fire alarm going off at 5-55 Saturday morning and couldn't really get back to sleep and when we almost did the foreigners were making that much noise in their language and banging on the other doors .

As soon as we entered the hotel, the staff were friendly chatty and helpful. The room was cozy and comfy. Everything worked nothing was damaged and it was exactly what we needed. Parking was a bit tricky (and expensive! See below) Just about managed to get parked each night.
We didn't have any meals there, but they did look nice. The event we attended meant we missed the hours that they were serving food, maybe next time!
