We chose a small double room at this hotel and it was exactly as we expected. I wasn't sure if the heating was working properly as seemed to take ages to warm up. The bed was ok but I suspect the mattress could do with replacing shortly. The room was clean and the water hot but not great pressure from the shower. Note there is no bath with this type of room but I was happy with just the shower anyway. The hotel is in a perfect location and only a 2 minute walk to embankment underground And ideal for a short break. Most of the day/evening we were out so only used the hotel for getting changed and sleeping which was ideal. I would definitely stay here again.

The hilton Paddington was the best hotel Ive ever stayed in.
From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out it was a lovely enjoyable stay.
The room was luxury, the food was delicious,
The staff were friendly and helpful, I honestly can't not fault it at all.

The hotel foyer is bright and cheerful and the check in is quick and efficient. Once onto your hotel room floor the atmosphere changes to being a little dull and dark. The rooms are becoming a little worn with chipped surfaces and poor amounts of power sockets in the room (you need some beside the bed). The room is an excellent size and bright with large windows. The television in the room is tiny for the size of the area it's covering. The view out of the room is great across the city. At times it can be a little noisy with the traffic but it does quieten down through the night. For my taste the bed is a little soft and you tend to roll together. The bathroom has a shower over the bath which works well.
Breakfast has an excellent selection and there are items which can be ordered and cooked for you. The dining room has been well furnished in it's time but it also requires an update. The arms of the chairs are worn and stained and I loved the wine cooler installation.
It's time for a little investment in the hotel to bring it up to scratch for the future. It's not a bad place to stay by any means just a little worn.
The employees are excellent.

Very satisfying. We had to attend a ceremony at Warwick in the morning so to avoid travelling in the early morning traffic rush we decided to stay overnight at Coventry. This was the best priced hotel for a family room. 2 adults and a grown up daughter. The room was spacious and reasonable with very decent ensuite. Iron with ironing board, tea coffee making facilities in the room and Plenty of clean towels. Our price also included continental breakfast which was good.
What else could you ask for under £50 a night!
