We had stayed here some years ago and as we had planned to visit St Paul's, it made sense to re-visit. We were upgraded to a Premier Room (for some unknown reason) which contained a small suite and kitchen, so needless to say we were pleased with the room. The location is good with a Tube Station a few hundred yards away and the Millenium Bridge with access to the South Bank is also a similar distance from the hotel. There are several eating establishments nearby offering a variety of cuisine. There was also a resident's lounge with free coffee and computer access.
Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. If I had one very minor gripe, the bells of St Pauls woke me the first night but I can hardly say that it was totally unexpected.

I've stayed at the Apex Temple Court Hotel four times in the past four years, with each stay lasting at least two weeks. I've never had a single reason to complain about anything. The rooms were clearly designed by someone who understands the needs of travelers. They're extremely well-appointed and always immaculate. The wifi connection is excellent and it really is free (no surprise charges at the end of a stay). The entire staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, is helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The Fleet Street neighborhood shuts down in the evening and on weekends, so it may not be the right location for everyone, but I enjoy the peace and quiet after a day of running around. Highly recommended.

My friend and I chose to stay here for a weekend reunion after some busy weeks at work. We chose a twin room but it was on a noisier side of the hotel (building works to build a new hotel is going on outside on one side) so after discussing with the staff, they moved us to a lovely room in a quieter area. The room and facilities were clean, spacious, modern and well kept. The staff were always helpful. We also ate in the restaurant which has good views and a tasty fine dining menu. The spa was good although it was busy Saturday afternoon with external visitors on spa days etc. Overall e were pleased with our decision to stay here which was 5 minutes from old street tube and only a few stops back to Euston to catch our train home. If you want a swish, modern hotel at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong with this.

Chose to stay here because of the proximity to Liverpool St station as we were only there for a night before going. The hotel room was lovely, facilities were good, though there wasnt an iron in our room, but I want to go back for the bath alone pure heaven. The in room breakfast was really tasty, plenty of beacon on the full english, only let down because I ordered a hot chocolate with marshmellows which they didnt have, though I got a complimentary plain croissant, still felt a bit disappointed. The staff are great very friendly and helpful. I was told I got some complimentary things in the room, and it would have been nice to know what was complimentary and what was not, just to save on the confusion as the information in the room didnt make any mention of this. Overall definantly a big thumbs up! :-)

This was my first time in London and the Montcalm was welcoming and the service was exceptional. They had everything I needed, including charger adapters and an included smart phone with perfect service around London to get directions and order cars and make calls. The hotel was beautiful and the restaurant impeccable. If you have an injury as I did, this hotel is not for you. Long walks with stairs to rooms. If you are familiar with London and have a car it's lovely, but it is about a $30 cab to tourist sites, so I would stay closer to those next time. That isn't the hotels fault though! Overall a lovely experience.
