My stay at Flamingo Las Vegas was a mixed experience. Check-in was excellent. The young woman who assisted us was friendly, cheerful, professional, and very service-minded. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. Our room also had a beautiful view of the Sphere and High Roller. However, the dispensers for hand soap, lotion, and body wash were empty. After our first night, we left in the morning and returned in the afternoon to find that the room had still not been serviced. We needed fresh towels, the beds made, and the dispensers refilled. I submitted two housekeeping requests, as I needed to shower and get ready for a Backstreet Boys concert. Eventually, I had to find clean towels myself and use shampoo instead of body wash. Housekeeping did not arrive until after 6 PM. The staff member could not communicate in English, so my parents had to go to the housekeeping cart themselves to collect soap refills. Check-out was also disappointing. Diane at reception was unfriendly, dismissive, and not service-minded, leaving us with a very poor final impression. The family pool was pleasant in the morning, although loud music from the party pool made the afternoon less relaxing. This was my fifth trip to Las Vegas but my first stay at Flamingo. There were positives, but housekeeping and the check-out experience significantly affected our stay.
