The reviews I read were not very flattering so I took a chance. Managed to get a room facing the back much quieter The Waldorf has a long history and should not be forgotten yet embraced. PNE used to have a parade and thats where all the pipers went. The staff are locals and down to earth and legitimately want your stay to be a pleasant one. Howe brewery is pleasant and staff there are great as well! Yes there is some unhoused and people that are struggling but they mind their own space and can even be very helpful.

Very well located in the Yaletown neighborhood near many restaurants and the water boats, easy ride to the airport and other places worth visiting in Vancouver. Clean and spacious room and not noisy.

Great space for a family. The kitchenette had all that you need for a short stay with a decent sized fridge. Also provided pods for coffee which was a nice bonus. The bedroom was much bigger than anticipated and opened out on to a large terrace area with a table and chairs for 4. We enjoyed having breakfast here with a view of the city!

Wonderful stay from check-in to checkout. The apartment was spotless and quiet, the online staff were so welcoming, and the location made everything easy. Highly recommend! It's one of the best hotels we have stayed in when it comes to clean and fresh and comfortable. The only thing to note, like in many big cities, you want to be mindful (Chinatown, Vancouver) of your surroundings. Walkable to everything downtown, fully equipped kitchen area, towels were stellar, clean modern room at large, and excellent value! Overall, a lovely boutique hotel and very friendly and helpful staff - provided replies on all inquiries and a seamless arrival and departure. Exceeded our expectations! Think this hotel is a gem and underrated!

Excellent property ~ very clean and courteous staff; convenient location, great proximity to sea bus and restaurants! If you are sensitive to noise, perhaps consider requesting to stay on the west side, opposite of the market/restaurants as it tends to be a bit loud in the evening with the market and the pubs.
