This hotel is gorgeous! The beach & view were stunning & lots going on in the area. Our room couldn’t have been better. I have stayed all over the world & have never had a friendlier or more accommodating staff. They went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. They even helped us with transportation & outside excursions. Luis at the front desk was especially helpful & always had a smile! The food was great too.. breakfast, dinner, margaritas… everything! I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Good but boring for 7 nights with 3 kids 6/9/11 yrs old. They do not like kids club. They were just boring. So we’re driving out to public beaches and cenotes and locals markets for morning and afternoon comeback to resort and enjoy at swimming pools and Cafe for drinks. Loved Iced Americano. Cafe open 7am to 10pm. But the resort beach wasn’t good(BAD) couldn’t even get near to beach. Sargassum was very heavy and smelly. Overall good and Food was average,

Traveled with several adults and 4 kids booking several rooms. Called the property prior to arrival to confirm rooms and verified all details. On arrival I was told that ONE of the kids’ ages was incorrect and was asked to pay an additional $400+ dollars even though everyone was accounted for. Was told I could email the manager but could not speak to one while I was there. An absolute nightmare to deal with after traveling all day with small children. Staff was a 50/50 on who was polite/courteous. Booking again our second stay this year and avoiding this property mainly due to the issues we had on our previous stay. Was never contacted by the manager like I was told I would be.

Grown and Sexy!!!! We loved every part of this resort! Will definitely be going back! The tub was the best bath Ive ever taken!

This was our second stay at Marina El Cid, and we loved it even more this time! What truly makes this resort special is the people. Our housekeeper Sandra was absolutely wonderful—she changed our sheets daily, and we never had a chance to ask for anything because everything was always there before we even needed it. The servers, bartenders, Kids Club staff, and honestly everyone we encountered were amazing. There is so much to enjoy—the Fun Zone, shows, Kids Club, pools, activities and amenities—that we didn’t even want to leave for excursions because we felt like we’d be missing out on being pampered at the resort! Also, huge kudos to Expedia. The resort we originally booked didn’t live up to what was promised, and Expedia listened to our concerns and relocated us to Marina El Cid that very same day. That completely turned our vacation around, and we couldn’t have been happier. We came back to Marina El Cid for a reason, and after this stay, we’ll definitely be back again. ❤️🇲🇽
