Myrtle Beach Vacation Packages

The room was fine and the staff of the Sands Beach Club were fine. The problem with the checkin process is after checking in they send you to a desk outside the office to get a parking pass. Picking up my pass I’m told I have to attend a Timeshare presentation the next day. Turns out that Capital Timeshare was handing out the parking passes and trying to strong arm people to attend. I told them I don’t have time for that and have zero interest in a Timeshare. Two associates kept telling me I had to attend one on Sunday or Monday. The associate showed me a email voucher I should have received and I had to attend. I never received a voucher! I booked via Hotels.com and no where on my reservation did it say anything about a voucher or a timeshare. Simply 3 nights at such & such rate. After 30 minutes of a stressful conversation with these two associates they said I could go to my room. I had prepaid or I would have walked away. I was not the only one having issues, there were several. One woman was having a heated conversation with the associate and the associate finally said to her, there are only two things in life that you have to do, eat and die. Such unprofessionalism. Even tho this may not be the Sands Beach Club employee, it is a direct reflection of the Sands Beach Club for allowing this type of high sales pressure. We ended up leaving a day early. I would not recommend this property to anyone. And it’s a shame as it’s in a nice location.

I enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff, clean environment, beautiful aesthetics and I love love love the aroma when you walk into the lobby I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick getaway. Great location also!

There was a horrible stench on the 7th floor that punched you immediately in the face as the elevator doors opened. The elevator situation was absolutely horrendous!!!! For the number of guests, all elevators need to be working, including the down button from the 7th floor. This hotel was adequate at best, but the view was spectacular. We reported our concerns without resolution. We will stay elsewhere next time.

Room was clean, mattresses couldve been way better, they were a bit uncomfortable but other than that, we loved our stay
