We picked this hotel for the pool and the fact that it would fit our family of 5 for a quick overnight trip. Overall the facility is nice, and the kids really enjoyed the pool! I was a bit shocked that there was an extra charge for bedding for the pull-out couch (we were not informed when we checked in) and $20 for some extra blankets seemed excessive for a feature that we assumed was included. It was a little odd as well that the pillows were folded and stuffed into the pillowcases to make them look cute. We didn't realize they were full-size until we called the front desk for more pillows and were told that they would have to charge us for additional bedding and that we could just unfold the pillows. The breakfast was decent, however it seemed the staff wasn't anticipating the crowd and some things ran out or were cold because they has run out and needed more right away (such as the gravy for biscuits and gravy).

Our stay was as expected from a Motel 6 stay. We chose this residence because of the close proximity to the gorge and the ease of public transportation from Union Station (MAX blue line, ~45 minutes).
Room was big and clean. We had a nice large king size bed which was dreamy to sleep on. There was a small fridge, microwave, A/C, nice big TV, and comfortable shower. The hotel comes with a pool which is open till 10 p.m. I don't think it's heated but it was a nice cool-off from a day of nature hiking.
Staff was not good nor bad - they did their job. Free coffee in the lounge but no breakfast (as advertised).

When we arrived for check-in, the receptionist at the motel was surly and not at all friendly. Breakfast is not good. But I cannot say anything bad about the room we stayed in. It is very clean and spacious, seems like recently updated.

Hotel was nice from outside and ok from the inside.liked that they offered fridge with the room and that the room was comfortable for four people. Only drawback was that it was on a oneway street so it an inconvienience to get in and out of the property. Rooms were clean and all but could use brighter color of interior walls and more lighting. Also tv is hard to watch from second bed.bathroom door was not able to be locked but was not a big issue because it was a family stay

"It was fine to lay our heads down for one night "
The hotel was fine. There weren't any extras that you usually expect like shampoo, blow dryer, and free WiFi etc. But we just wanted a place to lay down our heads for one night.
The front desk was friendly and helpful.
Burgerville was close by and Hops was a few doors down. There was even a Taco truck next door.
