The hotel takes measures to save energy and is enviornmentally friendly. It was comfortable and a pleasure to stay at the skyler. We are going back to Syracuse University and we will be staying there again. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Covered parking. Nice restaurant and very nice lounge. Close to Syracuse University, free shuttle service to Carrier Dome and back. Well coordinated. Also close to downtown Syracuse. Rooms are large and comfortable. On the down side, the bathrooms are very small and would be a challenge for big people. Staff was helpful and friendly.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. The house is full of Christmas cheer. Philip and Faye are wonderful people, they make you feel comfortable the minute you walk through the door. The bedrooms are large with a Christmas tree in every one!!! The breakfast is first class, their waffles are to die for. We will look forward to another visit next year.

very nice stay overall. we were impressed with the quality of finishes, the cleanliness and the modern feel of the room. the staff was welcoming and understanding of our needs. the included breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend as a great place to stay. the one item that didn't shine was the pillows. they could have been more comfortable. other than that a great place to stay!

Syracuse, “the Salt City,” has its downtown at the southern end of Onondaga Lake. The restaurants, shops, and bars in Armory Square are popular with students from Syracuse University, about 3 miles away (5 km), and the summer months bring cultural festivals to the downtown streets.
