"Amazing hotel for Honeymoon"
Looking back our honeymoon in Cancun and Playa del Carmen, the most memorable moment was actually the moment we stepped in our hotel room in Secret the Vines. We were kindly offered an upgrade to a Master room with sea view on the 22nd floor. The moment I opened the glass doors the view was just breathtaking. Waking up and sleeping with peaceful sea waves sound was so relaxing. The staff in the hotel were so attending and they made us feel like home during our stay. The room cleaning was spotless. Staff who offered room service were always have smiles on their face. The entertainment team was great too! We had so much fun playing games on the beach and by the pool. And the light and fire show at the Sea Salt Grill restaurant was amazing. The design of the building and the room is very modern. We love their design and decided to get some inspiration for our own house decoration! Thank you for creating such an amazing memory for our Honeymoon.

"Wonderful resort, wonderful staff, wonderful beach"
Where do I begin? Walking into the resort you are greeted with champagne, check in is fast. My boyfriend and I barely left the resort! The staff is amazing, they know what you want and need before you even ask! We stayed for 6 nights and we're able to see and meet many different groups of people. If you want to party there is a pool with an infinity edge that has a Dj playing music by the swim up bar and different competitions and games by the staff. If there's a good group of people drinking and having a good time it's very fun. I'm not sure it's the kind of resort where young college guys could go to meet girls. More of a couples resort. However staff takes guests to an off resort club with all inclusive drinks and a table. There is another infinity pool that is more relaxing and quiet with great views of the ocean. Staying at las americas was nice because of the adults only. Riu allowa guests to go next door to the riu Cancun hotel and go to the club with has a great mix of music for everyone, young and old. The all inclusive option is good at riu Cancun, riu caribe, and riu peninsula. The only hot tubs that are available are located in the spa, which is indoors. It's meant to be very peaceful and quiet. There was always sand volleyball going on and staff continuously coming to the beach to take drink orders. Great sized beach. The shows were great every night, the staff was so happy and kind. Would go back! :)

Overall we were happy with our time at GR Solaris and it was a good value for the price. The hotel, pool and beach area were very clean and well kept. We had an ocean view room and the view was amazing. On the downside, you can hear way too much noise from the room, everything your neighbors are doing and anyone talking in the hall. The food was just ok, best thing was the pool side pizza.

"Great Hostel for a great price."
This is a nice deal for a hostel like this. You have your own room and bathroom and you are within walking distance to other places. You can get a taxi to the Hotel Zone in Cancun for about 200 peso($10). I will say that dont expect a TV or refreshment in the room. However, there is a 24 hour convience store down the street that you can walk to.

WE HAD MINOR PROBLEMS WITH ROOM THAT WERE ADDRESSED PRONTO. THE HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY ATTENTIVE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP NO SAD FACES ANY WHERE. THE FOOD CHOICES WERE GOOD THEME NIGHTS AT BUFFET AND ALA CARTE RESTURANTS TOOK WALKINS. LADIES TAKE NOTE ALL PATH WAYS ARE PIECED TOGETHER FLAG STONE VERY DECORATIVE BUT HARD TO WALK IN HEELS BRING FLATS. THE DRINKS WERE GOOD ASK FOR EXTRA SHOT. THE NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT WAS LACKING BUT PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES ON BEACH AND AT POOL SIDE. BE READY FOR VACATION CLUB PITCH AT CHECK IN. NO PRESSURE JUST SMILE AND SAY NO THANK YOU. "Nice hotel right on the beach"
We had five relaxing days at Dreams. It has 7 restaurants that you can go back and forth. We did not have a chance to go to all of them, but I did like the sushi bar the best and the world cafe had a great buffet.

"Don't look any further, this is the place!"
The RC is the total venue. You never have to leave the place, it has everything there. I did not expect the rooms to be as quiet as they were; the only noises I heard was luggage rolling down the outdoor aisle outside the door occasionally, that's it. The food was great, the service was awesome, the store was well stocked and had everything we needed. The beach was unbelievable with food and beverage service right there! The pool was immense and great to cool off in. We didn't even use a quarter of all the facility goodies they offered. The Royal Caribbean is the total package.

    Explore Cancun

Mexico’s most popular destination, Cancun is a beach-lovers’ paradise cut from sun, sand and sea. There are plenty of reasons to visit this sparkling Caribbean sapphire, where top attractions include climbing a Maya pyramid, diving into the depths of a limestone sinkhole or hitting the dance floor at a thumping nightclub.

Every day in Cancun begins and ends on the beach. The glistening white sand and crystal waters are straight out of a postcard. Plunge below for some of the world’s best snorkeling and diving at nearby Isla Mujeres and Cozumel. There is even an underwater museum here, with 500 submerged sculptures accessible to divers.

Just outside of Cancun, archaeological treasures are found at the Maya sites of Chichén Itzá, Tulum and Cobá. And at night, the city comes alive. Head downtown to Mercado 28 for authentic street food. The mainstream restaurants generally avoid innovation, opting instead for quantity and value, while the stratospheric nightclubs of the Zona Hotelera won’t shut down until the last shot of tequila is downed.

Ancient Mayan Cancun has more than left its mark on the modern incarnation of the city - most obviously in the form of Chichen Itza, the cultural center of Cancun. The Kukulkan Pyramid forms a striking figurehead, standing at a height of over 75 feet as part of the ancient mysterious city. It's also worth spending some time at the archaeological site so that you can experience the less obvious points of attraction, such as the Cenotes (sinkholes), an ideal setting for a solid day's freshwater swimming.

    Interact with nature

Enjoy views of the Cancun jungles with some horseback riding --it's the freest way to explore the matchless destination of Cancun, a truly different taste of the Mexican way of life. And why not swim with dolphins? You can be a part of their aquatic world, and experience their serenity and benevolence face-to-face. And if that's still not enough then why not visit Xcaret, an ancient Mayan village which now comprises an underground river, aquarium, and aviary? It's a truly unique experience - an otherworldly paradise.

If thinking outside the box is your thing, spend some time in Tulum; set atop a cliff overlooking the Caribbean, Tulum is home to Xel-Ha, the world's largest natural aquarium. Tulum's structures date back more than seven centuries, and the 40-foot high El Castillo pyramid is the aesthetic focus.

    Regional specialities

Downtown Cancun gives a taste of the local way of life with a plethora of regional specialities ready and waiting. Be it indigenous cuisine, live music, or local handicrafts you're after, it's all there; it's a taste of the true Mexicana to contrast with the Americanized city center.

Accommodation can mainly be found in the famous Zone Hotelera, an area shaped like a '7' featuring bridges connecting to the mainland. Rough beaches envelop the vertical side of the '7', while the horizontal end provides a tropical paradise for surfers and sun-seekers alike. The 14-mile beach stretch is where the city comes alive at night; the vast selection of bars and clubs means there is bound to be one to suit your taste. The area undertakes the great feat of transforming itself from the world's second largest coral reef during the daytime to a lively party city at night. Hide
