I stayed for 4 nights. This place is holiday inn basic. No “beach experience” no greeting when you walk in. No drink waiting on you. You have no concierge , no butler nothing. It felt more like i was checking into a holiday inn. The room was basic. The furniture basic the tv was about 24 inches and old my remote didnt work there is no smart tv nothing. No extra anything, no mattress pads on the bed just a fitted sheet. The grounds/pool was well kept but the staff was not the friendliest. The room service menu was horrible but when i ordered coffee and toast, i never got it. I never got extra coffee after it was clearly used in the room. They never brought my bag to my room after checking in. 2 hours later i had to go down and retrieve it. This is a party resort. Its loud day and night. More for a younger crowd. I wanted relaxation. The food was mediocre. The buffett has many options but was overwhelming and the pool always had grilled burgers and hotdogs. No reservations needed at the very few restaurants and to be honest no one really used them, again the food was not the best. The alcohol was available in your room. Use it because the drinks they make hardly have any alcohol in them. The resort overall aesthetic's are ok but the rooms feels cold , not welcoming and too open. There is no door for after you shower, you just walk right out into the room. It is a short walkable resort. But felt more like carnival cruise type crowd due to them famous for their parties.

We loved staying here! The hotel and staff and food was great. My only complaint is they don’t have hot tubs. It was a beautiful, clean, fun place. Their beach is great. The bus is super easy to navigate the strip and is right across the street for a dollar. The ferry to Isla Mujeres is practically next door.

Our family (grandparents and our 20 month old) came last month and we had a great time! Customer service was great from the start. Check-In was easy and quick with a welcoming drink. Rooms were clean, just the outlets for usb wasn’t all working. House keeping was great the whole time and drinks were kept full each day, we asked for extra water. The restaurants were all pretty good with excellent service. Servers were all friendly and kept drinks full and plates clear. The buffet was probably one of the best I’ve see and had. So many varieties of food. They have theme nights which was great! Mexican night was our favourite of course. Diego at the Sport Bar was awesome! recommended some tequilas to bring home. Pools area had seatings at all times, the beach had more seatings and the water was clear with very little seaweed. Overall great experience and would highly recommend. Just not a lot of things to do if you have kids.

Mi esposo y yo estuvimos en Riu Palace Peninsula, 5 noches y lo calificamos con un 10/10,el hotel cuenta en general con un personal muy amable,atentos todo el tiempo que te hacen sentir bienvenidos toda la estadía, la higiene en su totalidad es exelente, y una variedad en todas las comidas expectacular, también y no menos importante diversas y divertidas actividades recreacionales tanto para niños y adultos . En general tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa, considerando volver alli, y por supuesto los recomendaria con mucho gusto. Felicidades buen trabajo, y muchas gracias
