There were pigeons everywhere. Droppings all over the balcony and they nested on it. The smell was so bad and the birds even used the pool as a bath so it wasn't useable. We only could stay 1 night out of 4

Ixchel Beach Hotel
We loved our stay and it would be our first choice if we return. Great beachfront accommodation on best beach area. I do not recommend room service there as everything arrived cold. Go to little coffee shop by golf cart rental instead.
