We were in town for a concert that was on the OSU campus. I searched for a hotel that was fairly close but affordable on a tight budget. I am known to pick bad hotels but my traveling companions were thrilled that I got it right this time! Not being familiar with the area, I consulted with desk staff several times for directions and information - they were extremely helpful, taking plenty of time to print and review info for me.

The interior was recently remodeled they said. It was clean and attractive as a room. The beds were cheap though. Felt like linked coil low end beds.
Also, the wash cloths had holes all through them, and the towels were cheap. For the price though, it was a really nice place to stay and I am satisfied.

Just needed a place to stay for the night and wasn't looking for all the amenities. Most hotels in the area were over the hundred dollar mark so this was affordable and the room was clean. It was outdated and it also offers smoking rooms. Worked fine for the short time I was there. Felt safe and good location

Franklinton, sometimes known as the Bottoms, is the neighborhood immediately west of downtown. This part of Columbus gets its nickname because much of the land here is below the level of the city's Scioto and Olentangy rivers, and a floodwall is required to contain the rivers to protect the area against floods.
