Growing pains, but doing their best.

The stay itself was fine, with the one exception being our toilet was constantly running. I felt for the staff when we got there Friday night. There was a huge party going on in their venue space and I believe that the switchover from another hotel chain to a Wyndham was still having some growing pains. There were a lot of people having trouble with checking in because of that, but the staff handled it really well (shoutout to Chanel). Because of the huge party, any cleanup staff was doing the best they could, but my husband told me there was vomit all over the men's room. Our room, other than the running toilet, had a super comfy bed and duvet.

Overall, a nice hotel for the price. Very convenient to other areas around the city and to food places. The first room we were in we found a roach and like 4 or 5 roach babies crawling. We went to the front desk and they were able to move us into a different room. The staff was really kind and helpful. If I'm on a budget I'd stay here again.

Honestly, this was a SOLID hotel for the price I paid. The lobby and room (at least the one I was given) were spectacular. Everything in between, well… The place is in need of some TLC — carpeting, hallways, etc… But, and it’s a BIG BUT, my room was excellent. Every day I was there, they provided turn down service for my room (fresh towels, made the bed, and emptied the trash) which was entirely unnecessary. There was never a reason to feel unsafe, but the property had an overnight security guard in the lobby and a security guard driving around the parking lot. And the two blokes actually looked like they could handle some ish (they weren’t a couple of out of shape Paul Blart’s). The bathroom was super spacious and clean and the water pressure peeled layers off (it’s almost too freaking hard). Only issue was they only provide those little travel sized bottles of soap, shampoo, etc… So don’t expect the in shower dispensers pictured on the property listing (I went to Target and bought my own). Excellent cable channel lineup, fast WiFi, incredible AND QUIET AC unit, etc… For the price I paid for four nights, I could not have found a better property. Thanks for the hospitality.

When we checked in the Front desk person was not friendly @ all she didnt tell us where the luggage carriers were. We asked for a buffet schedule and she ignored me. So asked another front desk person and they were happy to help us. Otherwise the room was very clean . We were happy with our room and the rest of the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

Elevator was not working the majority of the time during our stay, very dated property with lots of issues. Breakfast was not complimentary, requires you to pay for standard breakfast fare. Lightbulb in bathroom flicked out while I was in there as well. Hotel sign is just a banner they put over the previous hotel’s brick sign. Shower draining was very slow and had to shower with 2 inches of water pooling at my feet. The staff was relatively nice though.

I would stay again

We could tell that Wyndham has not owned the property for a long time. It looked like it was in the remodeling process and may have been vacant less than a year ago. Despite that, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I would stay there again for the same price. Customer service was great as well. the hotel just needs to be updated inside and out.

Good Location

This hotel is being converted from a Doubletree to a Wyndham. It's kind of slap-dash; when you look closely, you can see that they're painting over things haphazardly and that the furniture is old and chipped. It's also huge, and the layout is confusing; I kept getting disoriented. I stayed here twice on the same trip. Each time, there were things missing from the room including a hair dryer and toiletries. And I saw a Gatorade bottle under the bed, which certainly wasn't mine. The first time I stayed (a Saturday night), there was an actual breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits -- the standard fare. But the second time (Monday night), there was only bread products. This hotel is located in the back of a shopping area, where there are lots of restaurants, as well as a Sheetz gas station. It's also pretty conveniently located. I thought the rates were reasonable as well.
