We stayed just one night while we were relocating to the area, before our furniture had been delivered. We were comfortable at this hotel. It is in a nice area, close to restaurants and shopping. Room was basic, nothing luxurious, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Plenty of options and tasty.
We had our dog with us and he did fine there as well. I took him out back and brought bags to pick up his waste. Apparently I am the only one who did that. It was rather disgusting behind the hotel with pet waste. I would encourage the hotel to make owners sign a pet policy and provid bags as a hint. Even a sign in back of the hotel with receptacles/bag dispensers would help. Seriously, what is wrong with people? It was the only criticism I had of the stay and not totally the hotel's fault.

Major long term road construction makes it difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. The other guests in my building were rude. One sat at the top of the stairs outside my door and was on her cell phone at all hours. The neighbors on the other side of my bed would start partying around midnight each night I was there. The hotel promotes being ecologically sensitive but the room maid washed my 1 glass in the dishwasher each morning. They don't want to wash towels but they wash a glass in a full dishwasher cycle.

The room was very nice. Plenty of space. Especially the couch and coffee table. Easier to eat in the room with a couch than having to sit on the bed to eat. Very close to the UNC Charlotte university. Great continental breakfast with cooked eggs and sausage.
