Nice place to stay

Everything was great from the breakfast to the sleeping arrangements. The overall hotel itself was nice and was in walking distance of lots of restaurants and it was pretty well kept. For the most part staff was friendly. The only thing that I did not like was when it was time to check in to pay - the front didn’t seem to know how to process payments between 2 cards - was splitting the charges with someone and they ended up charging my card for the full stay which put me in a real bind with other stuff scheduled to come out on the same day the payment posted which wasn’t on the day I checked in but a couple days later. The point in paying at the hotel and split it was so I didn’t run into this issue. Maybe they need more training but other than that everything was fine.

Great overnight stay

The hotel is fairly priced, breakfast buffet was really good. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and nice and the exterior seemed secure requiring you to scan your key card to get access to the building during the night hours. 9 minutes from PNC Music Pavilion. Will be back.

Always a wonderful experience coming to see my granddaughter at UNC with the best in customer service and friendliness at Hampton Inn. Hotel is well maintained and very clean and tidy always! Due to my international travel and a flight duration of about 26 hours, I was unable to check in on the scheduled date. I contacted the hotel to request postponing my check-in by one day, but they refused. Unfortunately, there was no flexibility offered, and I was not given any discount or refund. I was disappointed that there was no flexibility extended in this situation, nor was I offered a partial refund or discount, despite the circumstances being beyond my control. As a guest, I believe reasonable accommodation should have been possible, especially given the length and nature of my travel.
