Staff were excellent, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. The location was brilliant for all the historic sites of Philadelphia. Room was very spacious and comfortable, bathroom very clean. Loved the free breakfast too, great to fuel up for a day of being a tourist!

The hotel was new, clean and the front desk helped out when our sink was blocked - it was fixed within 15 minutes. Great location near the river front. Also when we booked the wrong room and emailed the hotel beforehand to ask if we could change, we were given the room change complimentary.

Society Hill Hotel was exactly what I expected a basic, nice place to stay conveniently located a hop and a skip away from the most historic sites in Philadelphia. The Pub downstairs is a perfect place to watch the game, get some pub grub and refreshing draft beer before settling in for the night. My twelve year old son and I turn all of our trips to Shriners in Philly into a history lesson. Which is why we were delighted to know that all the best museums from the amazing Chemical Heritage Museum to the one and only Benjamine Franklin Museum were at our fingertips. The staff was extremely helpful from getting our bags out of our hands to giving us a few history lessons, lets just say Benjamin Franklin was a fan of the Society Hill Hotel. Our room was small, but the location and the great breakfast nook next door, Cafe Square One made it perfect for us. We will stay at the Society Hill Hotel next time we visit Philly.
