Staff was phenomenal. It was first stay and from concierge to front desk was awesome. Room was very comfortable. Only mild hiccup was on leaving there was a delay with someone being parked /blocking the driveway/ valet area.

Room was clean and in a great corner location. We only stayed one night so didn't need much as far as amenities. We did use the coffee maker and appreciated the glasses for water and other beverages that we bought in the market downstairs. Staff was friendly (acknowledged me at check-out as the person who checked us in - which I appreciated). We'd stay here again on our next Philly trip!

This is the email I sent to corporate. The one side of the hotel is accessible to anyone you do not need a room key. Thank you for taking the time to read my note. While visiting my son in Philadelphia I often choose your hotel, and I appreciate the service I have typically received. I’m writing because this morning, at approximately 8:15 a.m., a member of housekeeping entered my room (981) while I was still in bed. There was no knock or announcement, and the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. The staff member apologized and left after seeing I was in the room. Because the room is next to the service elevator and is already noisy, I called the front desk to report the incident. The agent I spoke with, identified as Lou, responded in a way that made me feel like a nuisance rather than addressing the safety concern. Later, the housekeeping manager called and initially said their staff were all in a meeting; after I explained that someone had entered my occupied room, she suggested the checkout might have been processed by Expedia. This sequence left me concerned about both guest privacy and the accuracy of your internal procedures. I’m sharing this in the hope you will review what happened, especially how room status is communicated and how staff handle reports from guests. I value your hotel and would prefer to continue staying here when I visit, but I will reconsider future bookings unless I’m confident these issues are addressed.
