Very disappointing experience

Check in was a joke. No rooms ready after 2 in the afternoon. Told to come back after 3 along with numerous other people. Traveled over 3 hours and very disappointed to not be able to check in and relax.Told on my 2nd attempt that there were no double rooms available and to check back in another 20 minutes. Why? Hire more help! When I finally got a room after waiting 2 hours I did not have much time to relax before grabbing an Uber for the baseball game. When i retrned to my room, there was a street light shining in the window. I attempted to clise the vlinds to find they couldn't be closed. Last but not least, i wanted to shower the next morning before heading home only to find there was no draw fan in the bathroom. Why be a Hilton Honors member for this?

It’s a busy Airport hotel that’s older. It’s what I expected. The staff did the best with what they had. The room was OK nothing great. A bit overpriced for what it is, and I didn’t like having to pay for parking.

It was an average hotel in need of some updates and repairs, but for the price and convenience of what we needed it was okay. I did want to complement the front desk person, Chanell, she made our stay so much nicer and was extremely helpful in any questions we asked. I hope you can get this complement to the hotel management.

Poor Condition

I will never stay at a Doubletree again. It needs renovations BAD. The filter probably have never been changed, carpet was nasty and smelled old. However, Charnell at the front desk made our check in smooth and easy. It did it job for this trip.

The hotel itself was good for a quick turn around weekend trip. By no means is it luxurious though. Needs a lot of renovations done to it. It is dim lit, needs new carpets, water stains on bathroom ceiling. Toilet seat was peeling, stains on the curtains, scratches on the wall. So in other words, believe the reviews. Not terrible but definitely a little questionable. The hotel shuttle was of great convenience.

The AC/Heat did not respond to any adjustments. The bathroom smelled like someone was smoking in there for days, and the room was directly beside the elevators, so all we heard was the elevators going up and down all night. Not sure if all the rooms are like this, but Room 538 was horrible.
