"Good location, excellent room, "iffy" public space"
A welcoming reception started our visit off right, but then the elevator door opened on a dilapidated elevator lounge with soiled carpeting, causing us concern. Not to worry: the room itself was excellent: clean, comfortable, with a good, well-appointed bathroom. We would certainly stay here again.
The attached bar/restaurant, Cherry Lounge, is not one of the hotel's strong points. Fortunately, the Four Points is only a block from the Reading Terminal Market and nearby fast casual restaurants for breakfast or lunch (the Market closes at 6 PM). For dinner choices, the hotel is on the border of a dynamic Chinatown, but for other cuisine you need to travel some distance.
There are a couple of inexpensive parking lots nearby offering overnight parking (we paid $25 for 1-1/2 days).

We were two female friends travelling to Philadelphia for five nights. We like a double bed each in two rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The AKA provided that with bells on. Large sitting room, gallery kitchen with huge fridge and full cooker/ microwave, dishwasher etc. There are food markets nearby but I ordered a Peapod delivery which was in the fridge and unpacked on my arrival. MARTA was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and she has very good taste. We had a great stay and we would highly recommend this as a home from home. We had excellent sleep quality, never saw the housekeeper and the room was always spick and span when we came back from a hard day of museums and galleries. The location is perfect as it's at the heart of everything and easy to walk to restaurants in the evening if you want. We were in a corner suite 906 which was quiet and large. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us and in particular to Catherine Stafford , Director of the front office ,who is an asset to the AKA brand. We had a great stay. Highly recommended.
Room Tip: Speak to the front desk about what you need. They are v knowledgeable and accommodating.

The service is hands down one of the best at any hotel, anywhere. Every member of staff is there to greet you, your family, your kids and help with anything from arrival all the way through to departure. We will definitely be back.

I asked two employees where I could purchase the Rocky robe in the hotel. Neither knew advising the hotel did not have a store. I gave it one more try at checkout at which time I was told, why certainly, in the Spa. I purchased two robes, told this experience to the receptionist who was very nice. All employees should be familiar with the wonderful amenities at The Logan. Had a fabulous time.
