The stay was very pleasant, the view from the room was a 10/10. The only thing that I would complain about is the area of the pool was closed and that was the MAIN reason I decided to book this hotel. Maybe a little more clarity about the areas would be nice. Everything else 10/10.

The hotel was clean, I loved the secure access, and everyone was so nice. We received complimentary drink tickets when we arrived and the Asian restaurant on ground was amazing. Jimmy was a great host. I would stay there again for sure.

The room was very hot at night and made for uncomfortable and lack of sleep. The room temperature got up to 79. The front desk informed us that the HVAC system was switched to heat for the season and we could not run the AC. Therefore we turned it off to keep heat from blowing in, but still had to end up sleeping with the balcony door open to be comfortable temperature wise. But the noise from the streets below were loud.

It’s listed online as a four-star hotel, but it’s clearly in the condition of a three-star. The bed sits on a low wooden box frame that’s scratched and scuffed, and the headboard shows the same wear. Behind the headboard, there’s a wide gap exposing a dusty radiator. The bed itself has no spring or balance, so I didn’t sleep on it — I spent the night on two chairs instead, since I prepaid for just one night. The floors are brown wood-linoleum, and scuff marks can be seen on nearly every door. While the bathroom and bedding appear clean, the overall condition of the room feels neglected. There’s rust in the sink drain, a crooked fan vent in the kitchenette, an outdated stove and refrigerator, misaligned cabinet doors, and a patch on the ceiling where a repair was made. The staff is very kind, but I would never stay here again. This is not a four-star property by any realistic standard. I don't think I should have paid what I did pay thinking that this was a four star hotel that's clearly a three-star hotel.

The hotel in general is nice and looks appealing. The rooms are rather large, but our room had a LOT of deferred maintenance issues including the following: 1. Kitchen Outlets for Coffee maker did not work. Had to move the coffee maker into the bedroom area to use it. 2. Bathroom door did not close. When you closed it, it would pop right open because the hinges were misaligned. 3. Google TV box kept freezing up and we would have to reboot the box behind the TV. We rebooted it 3 times over a 2 day stay. 4. Room was extremely hot. The entire hotel uses some type of shared system so when it's cold out, the AC only works as a heater. Our room was stuck at 75 degrees. We had to keep the windows open to try and get some air, but then it was too loud to sleep. We called down for a fan and they said they could bring us a heater as everyone was complaining their rooms were too cold. I guess we were getting all of their heat. They did manage to find a fan and bring it to us which helped, but it was still way too hot for us in our room. Overall, the location is great and it's a nice looking hotel. The Irish Pub in the lobby is great. Despite these positives, I highly doubt we would ever stay in this hotel again and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone.

Staff were very nice & helpful. Rooms need updated, not likely to happen due to the age of the building. Cleaning could be improved, not only overall but the day to day cleaning was below average. We requested to change the sheets due to the number of days we stayed, but this was never done. (Same stain was on the sheet & comforter from day 1.) Dishes were left in the sink. Great location & pub downstairs.
