The hotel is opulent and the room was magnificent. The spa experience was luxurious. Food was well prepared and the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. The reception desk and spa staff were catering. The valets were rude sadly leaving a lingering impression.

Our daughters wedding reception was held here on October 8. The room we booked was to have had a king bed. The room was exceedingly small. A king bed would not have fit. There were no chairs, minimal floor and table /surface space. The reception area and staff were superior. I was just extremely disappointed in our room accommodation. Many of our guests staying there had very lovely rooms. I just don't think room 314 was on the Georgian Terrace level of excellence that everything else was.

We really liked this hotel. Staff is super friendly and if they can, they try to accommodate you if you arrive before check in time. That for us was a big plus. There is really good coffee available at all times, breakfast is pretty good too. The room is comfortable, very spacious and very nice bed and bathroom. The location is very good close to many restaurants and bars and right next to public transportation.

Coming from England we didn't really know which area of town to stay for a couple of nights. The hotel itself was absolutely fine, it's just the area is a bit far out from the attractions of Atlanta. We used the MARTA, which is reasonably close, and felt fairly safe in the daytime, not convinced it would feel the same late at night. We found enough decent places to eat for a 2 night stop, but I wouldn't want to spend a week there.
