The hotel staff were friendly and prompt. The room was not cleaned to acceptable standards: there was a drinking straw on the floor and fresh mixed drink spilled on the floor (still wet and color of mixer). There was also hair on the bathroom cabinet from previous guest.

The hotel is very nice, the "Fabulous" room we were in could have used some minor updates but it was clean. The bathroom is unusual, it really offers very minimal privacy due to the side window and door being frosted glass. Also, there was no mirror in the living area where the outlets are and the lighting was not great, which made it difficult to get ready when the other person was in the bathroom. Wasn't impressed with that. The bed was very nice! Valet was great and the front desk called for my car for me upon checking out.

Good stuff: Second night desk clerk (Dave) may be the best I have ever dealt with.
The room layout was exceptional. If I were travelling on business, The king bed with "L-Shaped" desk would be perfect for evening computer time.
The Not So Good: The clerk on check-in may have been the worst ever. He was not happy we interrupted his evening. The guest checking in shortly after we arrived was asked "Do you mind if I finish my cigarette before checking you in?"
The refrigerator was noisy, so I unplugged it the first night. The toilet seat was also loose. I advised the front desk the next morning. On return that evening, the refrigerator was still unplugged and toilet seat loose.
This is the second hotel at this I-85 exit we have tried. I am not sure if we will try another (about $100 per night more expensive) or give Red Roof Plus another try.

Nice hotel, excellent location and connected to the Lenox Hill mall. Nice indoor pool. If you book thru expedia , wifi is not included, but I complained and was given for free.

I was traveling for business for 3 days and I almost didn't book because of the reviews I read, but I opted to anyway and the hotel was not bad at all. I would definitely come back. It was affordable and super convenient to everywhere I needed to be in midtown and downtown via Uber. The room was clean, the heat was a blessing (because I'm always cold), the breakfast was nice and simple (with good stuff on TV in the lobby), and the staff was very friendly. The internet went out for a few minutes and they were so fast to fix it. It was speedy. Nice vending machine selections, too, haha.
I was able to check in early, which I really appreciated, and checking out was effortless. The only thing I can't comment on is other common facilities because I didn't use them or venture off to look at them (gym, laundry, etc.)
