"Needs double glazing"
Really good location, easy walk from Piccadilly station and then into the main shopping areas. Check in staff were lovely, bit of a pain when the key doesn't work first time and you have to go back to reception and get another one. I did feel like the room was quite small, not much space either side of the bed. I assume there are rooms that do not face the main road, as mine did, but these rooms must have better sound-proofing. Single glazed windows with shutters just doesn't cut enough out. I live in London so am used to noise but nothing to this level. I could hear every word outside on the main street. I cannot fault to location, the staff but some money needs or be spent to update the windows without losing the character of the rooms.

"Nice, clean hotel. "
Quite cold in terms of decor and we couldn't turn the thermostat up further than 23 degrees even though it was cold in our room. A little bit further out from the city centre and a shame you have to pay for parking

Traveled to Manchester with my 14 year old son. Stayed in a room with 2 single beds. Arrived before check in. The staff was wonderful. They took our bags and had them in our room when we came back later.

"Exceptionally beautiful hotel"
We were bowled over by the gorgeous rooms - the ceilings were so high and the room was decorated beautifully - pictures as shown on website can't q capture how gorgeous the room was. Furniture was selected with much care and everything came together very nicely We stayed in the 2x double bed room and it was enormous, lots of space for luggage and some more. There was also a complimentary Tuck Box filled with chocolate, potato chips and tea/coffee sachets, v simple yet nice gesture The restaurants within hotel was also very beautiful and we had an enjoyable breakfast soaking in the ambience

"Stylish Hotel in the old banking district"
Perfectly located in the centre of the old banking district of Manchester, the Gotham is surrounded by stylish restaurants, bars and shops which take advantage of the amazing archectural elegance of this city's historic confidence and wealth. A prefect location and setting to for a get away treat. My only advise is the very best restaurants are very popular so take a look around and book before you go

What a great surprise- my husband booked this for my birthday and I was really chuffed. Central to Chinatown and Canal Street and not far from Piccadilly so very handy. We had a Studio Apartment which I thought might be pokey but much bigger than I expected. Well stocked with kitchenware but no microwave. Very comfortable, very clean, very happy! Will return soon. Thanks.

Manchester City Centre is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Manchester City Centre, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Manchester City Centre hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
