Great location near the train station and great views over the city. However, they seem to be scrimping on the basics. The precious occupants room service was still outside the room when we checked in, their shower gel was still in the shower and minor, but frustrating considering the price, no biscuits in the room. The bar staff were also overwhelmed, so after quite a long wait I went to the local shops to get drinks and snacks instead.

Nice room

We booked a panoranic suite, lovely light room, very spacious and clean. Would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water and some snacks/biscuits in room. (In glass bottles? Eco friendly) We had access to the M lounge and took advantage of the free drinks and snacks in the evening (5 - 9) before heading out. Hubby did use it for breakfast the next day. Overall an enjoyable stay.

No luxury and dated, but functional and clean.

Bedrooms are dated, but large. Not keen on hard floor throughout and seems weird a Marrott hasn't got carpeted rooms. Instant coffee, really? Good power shower is the best thing, as I don't know why people prefer rain showers. Rooms were very clean and seemed well maintained. No sense of luxury you normally associate with this brand.

Very pleasant and peaceful stay. Excellent staff, amazing breakfast and a decent bar with a good selection of drinks. If I have to nitpick, then I’d mention that the phone in the room was a bit of a hassle for me. I tried calling the reception from the programmed button on the phone, but it would not work. I had to walk down to the reception due to that, and then I asked the actual dialling number for the reception, which was 0. So keep that in mind if you find yourself in a similar situation. Otherwise, the stay was brilliant. I’ll definitely book again when visiting Manchester. Central location also helps with excellent connectivity to trams, Piccadilly station and taxis.

Stayed in a twin room, after a slow check in due to have to download app for parking, Best point about this hotel is the large size of the room and bathroom. Downside is window is not openable. Staffs are smiley and good. Fairly quiet room. Good location for shopping and Chinatown. Near the train station. Parking is behind the hotel for £20 per day. Beds are comfy. Would do with more toilet paper and two pillows are in bed upon arrival. Bins are no liner and dirty. Very busy during Easter holiday. Feel suit family more as I feel my Vodafone signal is slow sometimes.
