A nice hotel in Madrid which offers good location to both the airport and Atocha train station.
The rooms are spacious however for a couple who each have their own suitcase you may be in for a surprise as a stand is available for only one suitcase. The room facilities is what expected however there was no iron/ ironboard in the room.
The bathroom was spacious and it was pleasing to have find two bathrobes in addition to the towels.
The hotel patrons can be noisy at night (due to driunkness) however this was not directly the hotels' fault [I had one knocking our door at 2am]

Convenient location. Had a bad encounter with the front desk. She was rude and obnoxious. I asked about a trolley to bring the luggage down. She told me they had no trolley, I told her it was a lie because I had seen one the day before. She then told me I would have to wait until her colleague arrives at 9, because only her one was working. Bad encounters like this can put a bad name in your business. This should have been handled in a more polite manner. I therefore has to drag my luggage down to the lobby.

Nice location, right across from the Metro and walking distance to,shopping, dining, etc. the room was spacious and clean and modern. My only complaint was when some one upstairs flushed the toilet it sounded like a massive waterfall,in my room.I would stay again though.

Lovely views of the city from the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar. Sadly the pool was covered over and then out of the blue we were asked to leave as there was a private function. Not happy at the way it was handled

This was my fourth stay at the Hotel Wellington and I very much look forward to staying there again. The location is perfect for the Prado, Park Retiro and downtown shopping and dining and most places are with in walking distance as Madrid is a fairly compact city.
The staff were very attentive of our needs and room service came very promptly. What's not to like?
