The hotel was not in a busy area which was preferable though a little inconvenient if you have large luggages as the nearest station is at least 7 minutes away. I’ll remember to pack light next time. Overall, it was a nice and inexpensive hotel to stay in around Madrid.

Convenient but Lacking Found this perfectly located spot in Madrid - super safe neighborhood with metro and bus stops nearby. Room was a bit too basic though - no table or chair to be found, and definitely on the cozy (read: tiny) side. The young front desk team seemed like they were still learning the ropes - sometimes a bit mechanical and sensitive when handling questions. The stellar location might make it worth considering if you're planning to spend most of your time exploring the city, but just know what you're getting into!

Perfectly acceptable where I needed a bed for the night after landing at 11pm and leaving for a train at 9pm. Very basic room, almost like a student accommodation. Bed was small double, fine for one but I wouldn’t want to share it. There was also a metal bar running down the middle which I could just feel through the mattress. Well stocked vending machines which was nice when arriving hungry late at night. Certainly not a bad hotel and for the price it was just fine.

The property felt more like a hostel with more privacy. The rooms were small with a private bathroom and shower, which was perfect as a place to rest before heading out to the city. The combo bathroom/shower door took some getting used to as the floor would get wet, but the front staff were great in providing extra towels quickly. I'd recommend this as a good base if you are comfortable walking and taking the metro!

Super safe neighborhood with easy access to the metro and the train station. Very clean. Very nice staff! Relatively spacious and bright, clean rooms. Boring area, but much more affordable with lovely rooms and facility. Would stay again, especially if planning multiple day trips from Madrid. Walking distance (albeit long) to the historic center.

Think Travelodge España and you won’t go far wrong although it was more expensive. Relatively handy for the train station which is why we chose it. Many other better and no more expensive hotels and apartments in Madrid.

Great location near Atocha train station (not walking distance with luggage) with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel should offer free water (two bottles a day is a norm at other hotels) and a coffee machine in the room for the guests.
