"Nice hotel close to the Barcelona El Prat Airport"
Grateful to have a nice hotel near the Barcelona El Prat airport when you have an early departure. What we liked: beautiful lobby, large comfy room, pool (though it closes at 8 pm -- too early), free airport shuttle, and several eating options. What we did not like: hard bed (even with topper cushion), room stuck way at the end of a very long floor, and rough bath towels (only two provided).

Was an excellent place to stay! Close to amenities and able to walk down to the beach, Room was lovely with excellent cleaning services! Staff at the desk were great and very knowledgable. Nice patio to eat breakfasts outside. Close to Tram buses and underground. Would stay there again if I return to Barcelona,.

Hotel was good. Ideal for an overnight stop close to Barcelona airport. The free shuttle was very much appreciated although we did wait some time outside the terminal in the cold for the bus to arrive. The cafe in the foyer made good coffee.

From the minute I arrived here my shoulders dropped and I felt relaxed. Stayed in a classic double, it was so comfortable. Chic timeless decor and the most comfortable bed. Spent day one in the spa and cocktails / dinner on the fabulous rooftop. Day two exploring Barcelona, best feeling knowing we were returning to 1898 for a much needed dip in the pool and sun downers with the fabulous views. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay here, it made our weekend.

Two of the city’s largest parks, Parc de les Aigües and Parc del Guinardó, can be found in the hilly, semi-rural Horta-Guinardó district. You can see them both from the towers of La Sagrada Familia church, Barcelona’s most emblematic and fascinating building, created by Antoni Gaudí, (actually in the bordering suburb of Eixample). Neighbouring Gràcia is a good place for typical Barcelona eating, drinking and shopping.
