"A little out of the way but a great place to stay!"
I LOVED staying in this hotel, even though it is not on Barcelona's beaten tourist track - the street it's on doesn't appear on every tourist map. It has lots of brilliant facilities - gym, bar, restaurant, pool - not all of which I tried out, but it was great knowing I had the choice. Staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful, as you would hope, and the hotel itself exudes a quirky charm which won't appeal to everyone but I thought it was fun. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and a really nice place to come back to after a day in the city. The first time you arrive by metro, if you feel a little disorientated, ask for the store called "FNAC" which looks onto the street where the hotel is. The hotel is really well located for public transport - metro or bus - and I especially enjoyed being in a place where locals live, work, play and go to school. It's also just a short walk from the sea - great beaches and good surfing by the looks of it... Local amenities are super - including a huge shopping centre, if that's your thing - so there was plenty of choice whether it was buying a loaf, or finding somewhere to eat or just wanting to chill. It's a pleasure to recommend it as a place to stay. I wouldn't think twice about staying there again should I find myself back in Barcelona.

Very nice hotel, particularly the bathroom. Quiet. Accessible by foot to beach and the metro into the city. Didn't try the breakfasts. Shuttle service to airport very affordable.
Enjoyed our stay here.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Sagrada Familia (about 1km away on the same street). It was a good choice for my purpose, which was a walking vacation in Barcelona. I found all of the sights I wanted to see within walking distance, including Barri Gotic, La Rambla, and all of the Gaudi sights I had on my itinerary.

Excellent property. Very well curated materials and exceptional choice in style of life.
It's not fair to call this a 4 star since it's an apartment. If you don't need a concierge ready to handle your every need and are an independent traveler... this is place for you. It was like home away from home.
Make sure you go too the grocery store on your first day and stock up so you can really use the place as a home.
Also, if you need to get cash, banks are not friendly. There is a Ciaxa (sp*?) bank 5 blocks east on the road the hotel is on that will change money for you.

The hotel is close to the beach and a metro station making getting in and out of the city really easy. However the hotel has a limited bar area, restaurant and menu making staying in the hotel for an evening a reasonable option but in my opinion not to be recommended. The hotel does, however, supply towels for a deposit to be used at the beach.

Occupying the area north of the Old Town, Sant Marti is the modern face of Barcelona. It includes the massive new International Convention Centre and the stunning Vila Olímpica with its Port Olímpic marina, built for the 1992 Olympics. At weekends its beach, restaurant, bars and clubs are hugely popular. Nearby, Parc de la Ciutadella is the city’s favourite green space, home to a zoo, boating lake, greenhouse and three museums.
