Staff was excellent, amenities were great (the pool was amazing). The room itself wasn’t as clean as I had hoped, there were fingernails in the bathroom and a shirt that was rolled up behind the couch. But other than that it was a great stay

I travel frequently and usually choose Marriott for a reliable experience, but this property was one of the worst stays I’ve had. During the first week, the fire alarm went off two nights in a row at the exact same time (around 4–5 AM). This was due to a system malfunction, not an actual emergency, yet the staff made no effort to investigate after the first incident to prevent it from happening again. On the first night, I even got hurt trying to navigate the room in the dark since there was no easily accessible light switch. When I complained, the front desk was dismissive and the receptionist was demeaning. Since I had already booked another week, I considered leaving like several of my colleagues did. The manager, Michael Douglas, promised compensation in the form of points for two free nights, but this was never honored. He ignored my follow-up email, and to make matters worse, I didn’t even receive the Bonvoy points for my actual nights stayed. I found blood stains on the bedding in my room. During the second week, I was moved to a “better” room with a desk, but by that point my health and productivity had already been affected by being woken up in the middle of the night multiple times. Overall, this stay was far below Marriott standards: poor handling of guest safety, unprofessional staff, broken promises from management, missing Bonvoy points, and unacceptable cleanliness issues. I will think twice before booking with Marriott again.

The rooms here are nice but not overly impressive. The building itself is what was so impressive. The restaurants inside are very nice and the pool was great. Staff was also very friendly and the hotel clean.
