I used the hotels app to book my stay but when I get there, they told me it was not in their system. they booked me again and charged me double. when I called the hotel they told me it was the app when they clearly double charged me.

I loved this property from the pictures, but in person, everything was completely different. The first bad thing I noticed in my hotel room, was the stopped up tub. Secondly, the air conditioning was nonexistent! This was the first time ever staying at a hotel where the room wasn’t freezing cold, the room wasn’t even cold to be honest. Third, there were dirty spots on my mattress and by the second day, my skin was reacting very badly to the sheets. If that’s not enough, on my last night I noticed that I was in a double jointed room when I selected a deluxe room, maybe that’s why the “sound proof” was nonexistent as well. The staff never communicated this to me before hand! And I forgot to mention, I went down to the bar to get a beer and the bartender took forever to even acknowledge the fact I was sitting there. He mad it known he wanted to leave two hours ago, so he allowed that to show and provide terrible customer service. I’d never spend my money here again!

They only clean the room every 3days. Don't expect to have your bed made or trash taken out. Just poor management and under staffed. The hotel has plenty of potential. But, unfortunately they don't have the bandwidth to provide a five star stay

They charged 55 dollars a day for parking on top of hotel charges plus a bunch of other fees I never heard of. We waited 40 min. for our valet.

We reserved 2 queen beds. But the beds were full size. When we asked, the staff argued with us and said that the room is coded as queen. We were there with friends and their mattress was stained and dirty. When we checked in, we asked for directions to get to the room since it is a big hotel. The clerk just kept saying, "Its on the 3rd floor," and she got annoyed when we asked for clarification. Also, the bathroom door was a "farm" door, it slides. It was very heavy to move. A few times, we almost got stuck. It is a safety hazard. Chair was stained.

We were really disappointed with our stay at the Courtland Grand. From the moment we stepped outside, my wife and I felt unsafe—the location is on a quiet street with very little foot traffic, and we were approached multiple times while outside. Some staff were friendly, but others seemed uninterested or unhappy, which added to the discomfort. Our room had several issues: the AC was broken and stayed freezing, bedding was too small and didn’t stay in place, and linens had stains. Half the TV functions didn’t work, and calls to the front desk went unanswered—I had to go down each time we needed help. We also ran into payment confusion. I received a notice that my card was declined for incidentals even though the charge went through on my bank account. The front desk had me swipe the card again, at which point the destination fee was charged. I had already spent time checking with my bank, so this caused unnecessary stress. I also overheard other guests mention double charges and asking for corporate assistance. For the price we paid, we were extremely disappointed. We would have preferred paying a bit more for a hotel in a safer, more central location.

Maybe adverstise the valet parking and cost as well as the amenity fees upfront instead of after booking. I booked on Expedia and none was mentioned about this. No free parking option only valet option. When trying to checkout early a day i was told we would not be refunded and we would be still charged the additional fees and i would be charged a checkout fee. I felt misled and cheated out of money. I will never book with this hotel again. I had good experiences with Wyndham before, this was a huge dissapointment

Not gonna lie I was kind of worried because the price was so cheap ($99). But it actually turned out to be a beautiful hotel. The rooms are very very clean. The AC was really cold. The bathroom was pristine. The only thing is that there was a bit of a line during check in, even though I had opted to express check in on the app, but it was a busy weekend for Beyoncé concert so I expected it’ll be a lot of people at the hotel. I took a chance and parked on the street to avoid paying for parking and I had no issues at all. There are homeless people in the area and I think it’s mostly because there is a food pantry on the next street but if you mind your business, they will mind theirs. All in all I would stay here again. I felt safe and comfortable.

Not a family friendly environment. The hotel pool area wreaked of marijuana every day/night. The room was not clean and had several areas with hair/soap scum in the bathroom. We were required to park off site and walk to the hotel with all of our luggage. There was never an opening for onsite parking. Overall not a great option for a family stay.
