"Great rooms on a canal"
We were more than delighted with the comfort and cleanliness of our rooms. It is an older hotel that is in the process of a total renovation. The updated rooms are a suite with a separate living room/kitchenette and bedroom. Comfy king size beds and a newly updated bathroom made it perfect. The price was the best part. Very reasonable for the large airy rooms. The pool was nice and there is a Tiki Bar and restaurant next to it. We would go back again.

The hotel is in a great location with excellent waterfront views. The keep the entire place very clean. While I was there they had a crew scrubbing down the walkways. We had a great time. We will be going back.

"Nice place"
A bit far from down town but they have a shuttle every hour to downtown. The beach is quite a hike about 3 kilometers. The pool is great but can be crowded in mid afternoon. Try to count the Roosters and Iguanas in the pool area.

Close to most things to do. Great pools, beach and restaurant. I had a great time but the room was just a room- nice linens, pillows but other than that it wasn't an over the top experience. Hotel in a great location but way over the top in price. Would still recommend location and ready to go back

"All about that sunset view"
We loved the balcony in the first building in the Hemingway suite. It's not really a suite, there is no couch, just a room with a kitchenette. The bathroom was an accessible one and badly in need of updating but it was functional. I wasn't aware it was that type of room when I booked it. However, it is not about the room, but the view. The sunsets were worth the price of admission. We also saw a sting ray jumping out of the water one evening. We used the kayaks that are available, one morning and that was very nice. Breakfast was typical but not many choices. I'd stay here again as it was very relaxing. Old style hotel

"Fun to sleep on a boat"
Room was spacious and clean. The owner was friendly and recommended a great seafood restaurant! Loved floating on the boats. The bed was a little too hard for our tastes. The shower was on the small side, but then it was retrofitted into an old boat. So I guess we should be happy with the private bathroom. Could've used more towels, especially a hand towel or two. A coffee maker would have been Wonderful! The boats were set far off of the highway that we were never bothered by Hwy 1 traffic. The view of the water was very nice. The other guests were also very quiet and respectful.

"good and not so good "
Good Staff was very pleasant. The young lady taking care of the breakfast buffet was excellent!!!! Room was clean but really needs to be cleaned better. Bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Mini fridge was a plus. Not so good Second floor rooms up a steep set of about 15 steps. Need to tell when making reservations!!!!!! Absolutely no information available about area activities, attractions or transportation. Breakfast should be until at least 10 am your guests are on vacation. Please serve fresh fruit. The bananas should have been thrown out or used for banana bread! The oranges were also way past the time they should have been on the buffet. If you are going to have such a limited breakfast make it fresh and appealing.

Florida Keys is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Florida Keys, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Florida Keys hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
