"Good location on the water"
We stayed in a queen room with no kitchen or fridge, which is ok if you dont want to make any food or drinks, we did get a foam cooler from Winn Dixie for $2.99 which once we got ice from the reception was good enough for keeping water, beers and bait cold. There is a fishing jetty if you want to fish and plenty of hammocks, chairs around the water along with the loungers around the pool. Its not luxury, but it is a good location, friendly staff, continental breakfast included and the beds are very comfortable.

"Nice room with a great marina view"
This was our second stay at the Kingsail. This time we had a king room with a screened porch that had great marina view. It was a good place to relax with the morning and evening breezes. We saw manatees, pelicans and other bird life from our porch. The bed was very comfortable with other the basic room furnishings. The pool was nicely done and relaxing. The room was clean and mopped daily but the maids seemed to miss the edge of the floors with the mop. The staff was helpful and cheerful throughout our stay. We liked the room and motel inspite of the edgy mop, and will book it again next month.

"Nice if you don't want to be downtown."
The hotel was surprisingly nice, beds and pillows very comfortable. Reviews I read said the shuttle takes 15 minutes. I guess that's true after you wait for 5 minutes at all of the other pickups. So you get on the shuttle on the hour, and get dropped off a half hour later. That was nice to not have to worry about parking downtown. Downfall is that the last pickup is 10:30, so it's not really conducive if you want to stay downtown late. Breakfast our first day was disastrous. They ran out of everything, and refused to refill. People stood in line for 20 minutes for sausage they said was coming. It came 5 minutes after breakfast was over, and they closed the doors right after. The other days there was plenty, but we also ate a lot earlier. We also used the concierge to book an excursion, and they, too were very friendly and helpful.

"Nice hotel. Needs a little upkeep in areas. "
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There were little attentions to detail that could really make this a GREAT hotel. The room had a few issues of which a couple were addressed when I called the front desk. The safe whould not work so a tech had to come fix it. They promptly addressed my concern. The front door had major gaps under the threshold and around the jambs. The door looked like it had been smashed in at some point and cheaply repaired. While it is less expensive to make a repair it gives a terrible appearance to guests. The toilet would not flush toilet paper down without a double flush. Every time! The water pressure in the shower was very weak. The toilet rocked as it was sat on. Definitely needs to be level and shimmed. The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave. Even much cheaper hotels I have stayed at least have a microwave. It made eating leftovers impossible. The grounds of the hotel were well maintained. Especially the pool area. What I thought to be one of the neatest things were the wild iguanas roaming the pool area. There are roosters roaming as well. They are just loud and annoying ( fun to watch though). There is plenty of parking right at the hotel so no worries about the car. The hotel did offer a breakfast buffet which I thought was pricey at 10.95. I really felt that some sort of breakfast should be included since you are charged a $30.00 daily resort fee. I did not eat the breakfast. I would happily stay here again when visiting the keys.

Florida Keys is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Florida Keys, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Florida Keys hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
