"Good location, but not even the basic room facilit"
The hotel is a good location, staff were fair. Room was very small but clean. Over priced for what it was. No tea making facility, no water, glass or cup? Disappointing not having such basic facility for the price they are charging for a “Deluxe” room

Unlike any hotel I have stayed at. Is a mix of hotel and permanent residence. Loft makes great use of space, has all the facilities needed for a short or long stay. Shared space on the top floor includes outdoor spaces to enjoy a coffee and indoor places to catch up on e-mail. Food options at the restaurant on the top floor are really healthy. Is located close enough to everything that I walked but away from the really touristy streets, is more in a neighborhood.

The welcoming and helpful staff were delightful. The location is conveniently located within a brisk walk of Centraal station, the Rijksmuseum, shopping, restaurants and other attractions. The room was clean, orderly and attractive but very small. Unfortunately the room was much louder than I anticipated due to crowd noise when the bars let out in the middle of the night.

There are plenty of quaint restaurants. It is the perfect walking distance to major attractions. We walked to the major museums, Heineken, Vondelpark, everywhere. However, it is conveniently located on the Tram 1, 2, and 5 line that runs from Central Station. We took an uber to the airport which was less than 30 minutes.
The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They gave great recommendations for local places to eat. If we were to visit again, this would be at the top of our list for places to stay. It was clean and quiet.

Very beautiful hotel with an outstanding decor. Could easily be a 5 star hotel. The only negative thing about it is the size of the classic rooms. The room was extremely small even by European standards, it was probably 10 feet by 8 feet. Though, it was nicely decorated. They showed us a “larger” room with a courtyard view but it wasn’t that much larger and we chose to have a front canal view. Would definitely stay here again but would be upgrading to a larger room if there are any.

Had a very relaxing weekend, have stayed before and was just as enjoyable. The location means you can walk to wherever you need to go. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity. The cheeseboard at 5 is something to look forward to after a busy day. Breakfast is perfect and staff friendly.

Truly one of the most beautiful hotel Ive stayed in. The staff was so helpful, and kind. The hotel has a fantastic bar called Freddy's. After enjoying the beautiful city Freddy's was the best place to relax with a drink, and listen the music.

My husband was at a conference so i decided to join him and booked the Hampshire Eden. My husband arrived first and was shown the room which was tiny and the only view was a brick wall. Naturally unhappy with this room he asked reception about an upgrade, there were no other rooms available so he was show the newly refurbished apartments. Stunning is all i can say and the views were second to none. The apartment was beautiful and fully equipped with lounge, kitchen, luxury bathroom and bedroom. On top of this there was no charge by the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. the location was excellent with a variety of restaurants & bars just a short walk.

The location of this hotel is superb, located near the major museums, concert halls, good restaurants, shopping and the essential city tourist venues. The Herengracht is one of the most elegant locations in the city, and the building is an historic (renovated) residence. The rooms are relatively small but efficient, with large beds and fine bathrooms. Those facing the canal have a charming view. Staff is not only professional but also very personally helpful. There is a bar and upscale restaurant. (Full) breakfast is à la carte. The hotel is excellent for couples and the private traveller, either on vacation or business.

The classic Amsterdam image of stately canals, the Canal Loop is principally the Herengracht and Keizersgracht, lined with gracious tall 17th and 18th-century houses. Some of these are now museums, most notably the eccentric Kattenkabinet. The Amstel is a more down-to-earth waterway, lined with houseboats and famous for its classic much–photographed Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge). The floating Flower Market is also a much-loved canal feature.
