"Good hotel"
This was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is new and quite small (a good thing), very well equipped and nicely decorated. The bedroom and bathroom were tastefully fitted, with everything one could need of a hotel. We found all of the staff we met very helpful and happy to chat or give advice on how to get around, where to eat etc.

"Cheap, Clean, Comfy, & Convenient"
My stay was in a private room with a shared bathroom - like a hostel, but nicer. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with its own sink, TV, and other amenities. The rooms are upstairs from a bar/restaurant that was hopping through the Friday night that I arrived - that could be a good thing or a bad thing. It was a little loud, but it was a happy loud full of laughter and 80s pop hits; it wasn't so loud that I couldn't fall asleep. I chose to stay here for a cheap place to launch a trip south to see the tulips in bloom and it was perfect for that with easy access to the highways. There were a number of restaurants, shops, and a beautiful park nearby. I never ventured into Amsterdam-proper, but I'm sure that would've been easy from this location.

"Bad receptionist, bad start"
A friend and I were travelling with my toddler. We booked a twin one-bedroom apartment so the baby could be put down in the evening. We knew it was pretty far from Amsterdam but it was on a tram route. The receptionist was slow, kept interrupting helping to help other people. I was carrying a sleeping baby but no one helped with bags. The room was a double studio. I went back to reception. He said they'd upgrade me for a fee. I proved I'd booked a twin one-bedroom. He told me I could pay the fee after we were settled in. Excuse me? He was still attending to others over me. At one point I asked him to stop and help us. He was slow, rude, and inefficient. He finally went and got someone else, a helpful lady found us adjoining rooms because there wasn't a one bedroom available. We weren't charged extra. The room key cards for both rooms didn't work. The maintenance guy was very nice. The reception wasn't open very much, but they were helpful except that one guy. Their maps are hidden away in a drawer so you have to think to ask. The rooms we had were clean and had everything we needed. Our stay was fine once checked in. There's a little shopping centre nearby and the tram was ten minutes away. Good advice on the best tickets to buy would have been helpful, though. Also a bus to Schipol virtually at the door, which was great. I would recommend the place as long as they sort out their advertising and ensure they provide what they are selling.

"Great bed and breakfast near airport"
Arrived early in the morning to Amsterdam airport. Johan let us drop our bags at the hotel on our way to sightseeing. After spending all day touring, we arrived back to a nice, comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent the next morning. Would definitely recommend to fellow travelers.

Amstelveen is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Amstelveen, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Amstelveen hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
