"A Palace of a Hotel"
We enjoyed our stay in this palace of a hotel - the ballroom is magnificent in its high ceilinged, marble and glass opulence. Our adjacent rooms were on the third floor overlooking the large atrium and were large, quiet and comfortable. Extremely clean, which is as you'd expect, and tastefully furnished. We used the very powerful jacuzzis and the swimming pool one evening, with a lift going straight down to the spa. Spacious and spotlessly clean, with of course towels provided. The concierge was extremely helpful and booked us a river cruise on our first evening. The hotel is well located, close to the Oktogon metro stop and with a tram stop very close by, or you can walk or take a cab to the top Budapest sights. The street is wide but busy and with an eclectic and somewhat dingy mix of storefronts, which don't quite fit the quality of this hotel. Once inside, you can see how deep the hotel goes back from the street. Recommended.

"Pleasant renovated hotel "
Overall a fantastic hotel in a good location. The pillows gave me a stiff neck as they were too soft but I suppose this effects everyone differently. Only other thing to mention was the wifi was a bit slow. Absolutely nothing else bad that I could mention at staying here!

"Lovely hotel."
This is a lovely hotel. I would certainly recommend it for a stay in Budapest. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and you had everything you needed. The location is excellent, you can walk to most tourist locations and lots of good restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful, from the moment we arrived until we departed the experience was excellent. Champagne as we checked in, treats in the room, printing our boarding passes and the taxi waiting for us to leave. Also worth noting is its easy to get to the F1 from this hotel. Metro (M3) is a short walk which takes you to the free bus service which takes to to the circuit.

"Superior location and experience "
We spent five nights at Prestige Hotel in Budapest. The lobby of the hotel is luxurious, has an old worldly charm with modern touches. The concierge couldn't be more helpful. She confirmed all our restaurant reservations, gave unsolicited helpful tips. The staff overall was efficient, very professional and did their jobs with great smiles. Our room on the 3rd floor of the hotel looked out to a narrow street. Although the street is not busy, unfortunately we were woken up by every activity on the street, to garbage trucks at 4 am, loud conversations at midnight etc. The room was beautifully furnished and spacious but the noise from next room was also unavoidable. The biggest problem was with the bathroom, every time we used the sink or took a shower, water was everywhere. It was not flooding but poorly designed sink, bathtub etc., beautiful to look at but not functional. I have to say that this did not dampen our enthusiasm about the hotel. It is in the heart of the city and a short walk to most of the attractions, great restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel also has a world class restaurant Costes Downtown which is for real foodies, I highly recommend it. Overall our stay in the hotel was great and I recommend it to everyone.

Nice spacious apartment with most amenities provided for and close to many popular bars and clubs. Many restaurants with in a short walk as are many attractions too, parliament is near by. TV is mostly Hungarian so bring a media device like chrome cast or a dongle for your phone. WI-FI is OK and free. Big Lidle shop 5 mins away so you can get any extras you might need much like in England just cheaper. Lovely friendly staff always helpful and can help you plan your fun.

Budapest City Centre is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Budapest City Centre, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Budapest City Centre hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
