This is the second stay at a Kempinsky Hotel and on both ocassions I have found them to be wonderful. Luxury!! The facilities--spa, pool etc. are really special with a view looking over Elizabeth Park with the Bascillica behind--spectacular! The location is superb for the metro, very close to entrance to Andrassy Streeet and also close to the Chain Bridge. Staff are always so helpful

The location is perfect! Old town! Close to the beautiful Cathedral and Parlament. Close to the Hop on Hop off and Metro station. A lot of restaurants in the area. The bedroom is modern. The bed is confortable. The bathroom is big and the shower too. The breakfast is great! The staff is fantastic, the best, they are friendly and always willing to help, they provide outstanding service. If we come back to Budapest, we will not hesitate to stay at this hotel. P.S Don't take taxi, they overcharged, they are thieves.

The hotel was great! Though it was perhaps not in the 'thick of it', it meant we were able to walk to decent transport, and still be in a nice quiet spot.
The staff were overwhelmingly lovely and super helpful, very attentive when we needed a hand.
The hotel decor is super quirky, with a lot of different styles seemingly rolled into one! It gave it lots of character and kept our stay interesting :-) The rooms followed this 'style', but were very well sized and comfortable. Only thing that could potentially be uncomfortable was the bathroom door made of glass. It did have a frosted section for 'privacy' but with a mirrored door frame and significant gaps, it perhaps wasn't as discreet as you'd hope in the limited space of a hotel room.
Overall, we'd definitely recommend as we had a great stay and it was much more spacious than many other rooms we had in Europe.

One of the best hotels i've stayed in. Luxury rooms and large size. Great shower/bath. Location is great as hop on/off bus stops outside and river boat 5 min walk away. So very easy to get about. Highly rate this place.

On the eastern side of the Danube, Pest is Buda’s flatter, edgier cousin. Tree-lined Andrassy Avenue was originally designed as Budapest’s answer to the Champs-Elysees. Heroes’ Square lies at the eastern end of Andrassy Avenue and is home to the impressive Millennium Monument. Hungarian gifts, food, and souvenirs can be found in Pest’s multi-storey Great Market Hall, the largest in Budapest.
