Nice hotel in great location. Easy to find & had easy access to private garage parking, so didn't have to find a spot for rental car on streets not familiar with. Able to easily walk to several main attractions in city & local area transportation, including tourist hop on/off buses. Would definitely stay in location again.

Review is written by an admitted hotel snob. This hotel is the best overall hotel I've seen in Europe. Architecture phenomenal, classic interior design, immaculate, well trained friendly staff, great food, and best location in Budapest. Frankly, the cost to quality ratio was also reasonable compared to many overpriced marginal hotels in big European cities.

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was reasonably sized, and was always cleaned well. Extras were issued without any fuss upon request from the front desk. Spa facilities are very good- would definitely recommend the steam room! Only had the breakfast buffet one day (it's €20 if you request in advance) but it was well worth it- staff were very attentive etc, just as they were in the hotel bar also. Location is good too, right in the centre- about 3/4 mins walk to the metro (Ferrenick Ter) and 10/20 mins walk from sightseeing spots etc.

I was travelling with a companion, mostly by train, and transit. The hotel was an easy subway ride from the main Budapest train station. The personnel was very friendly and cheerful and helpful. The room was basic but clean.Getting the luggage up and down the spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge, as the hotel has no elevator.

Had a lovely 3 night stay in Budapest. Weather helped, bought 48 hour transport pass but didn't really need it as everything so near each other, so if you like walking don't buy. Had walking tour of both sides, which were informative, good food and bars

On the eastern side of the Danube, Pest is Buda’s flatter, edgier cousin. Tree-lined Andrassy Avenue was originally designed as Budapest’s answer to the Champs-Elysees. Heroes’ Square lies at the eastern end of Andrassy Avenue and is home to the impressive Millennium Monument. Hungarian gifts, food, and souvenirs can be found in Pest’s multi-storey Great Market Hall, the largest in Budapest.
