Hotel staff spoke very good English (and German as well I believe) and were very helpful in ordering taxis, giving directions to shops, sites etc. Rooms were clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a very well priced mini bar (the prices were cheaper than most shops in the city). The air conditioning was not very powerful however so I found it too hot in my room sometimes, even on the coldest and strongest settings (supposedly 5C but nowhere near that cold). The shower was fairly powerful but the water temperature did suddenly go cold a few times whilst I was showering. This is a no-frills hotel which is very well located near Elizabeth bridge and the Citadel, and just a ten minute walk (or take the tram) along the Danube to Castle Hill and the Royal Palace.
