We had a very nice stay for one night in Budapest. Staff was excellent. VIP access added nice perks with early check in, a complimentary room upgrade, and overall attentiveness. The room was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. The bed was quite comfortable.
Staff was very helpful and true to their word had a taxi, (a nice roomy Mercedes rather than a common tiny yellow taxi) waiting to take us to the airport at 4:00 am for the reasonable price of 8,000 HUF.
Hotel location is good. About a half hour walk to the Danube and the accompanying attractions, but plenty of restaurants and a few attractions close by.
Our only quibble is that they billed us after the fact for a few things from the mini bar in our room that we didn't take or weren't there in the first place. Probably just human error on stocking it prior, or something like that. But the rest of the service was excellent so that's minor.
Thank you to the staff for making our short stay in Budapest so pleasant.

We weren't expecting a top hotel as the price was very good. This looked decent and we were really pleased with our choice when we arrived very late after a flight delay. The reception were very efficient and friendly and we're happy to book anything we needed during our 4 day stay, so they booked us in at the Gellert hot baths.
The rook we booked was a twin. It was lovely and large and had free coffee and a bottle of water (only on the first night for the water). The toiletries were also good and includedisposable shaver as well as toothbrushes and the usual wash products.
We didn't book breakfast in the hotel and ate out locally, although we realised most breakfasts aren't served very early.
Check out was quick.
The only critisism was the complimentary coffee, tea etc and the washing of cups - see below.

This hotel provides all the amenities deserving its 5 star rating. The food is of excellent quality and variety. Staff (both the hotel and the restaurant) is friendly and very helpful. The rooms may be slightly dated, but well kept and clean. The hotel grounds are beautiful, especially in their gorgeous fall colors. Nightly live music in the bar is pleasant and entertaining. The thermal pools and adjacent rest areas provide for complete relaxation.

We tried this "apartment" experience at the last minute and were we glad. Beautiful setting, fantastic 2 bedroom apartment that's practically new, lots of room, comfortably furnished including a full kitchen, one full and one half bathroom. Next to Lake Balaton.
Surrounded by a security fence and you need to be buzzed in and get them to open the security gate for you. Worth it!
Only problem was figuring out how the hot water turned on, but, suddenly it did.
Just like a hotel but without the grand lobby and things. Has a full wellness center although not a lap pool. Breakfast was great and the dinner can either be part of the price or added for $12 for the full excellent buffet.
