We were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Also close to the stop for the hop on hop off buses. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Although on a busy main road the hotel was a quiet oasis and our room (415) at the back was superb. the hotel has a modern interior and is immaculately maintained and the much needed aircon in the room was quiet. The room was well equipped with lots of cupboard and wardrobe space (some of which is cleverly concealed). Breakfast was superb and meals in he bar were very good. Would definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel & heartily recommend it. Staff was courteous, helpful & fluent in English. Rooms were not large but bed was comfortable & bathroom & shower were relatively big. As noted in prior reviews, there were individual twin-sized duvets for each of us on a queen-sized bed, but double duvets were available on request. Since we were there only one night, the individual duvets were fine. We took the airport shuttle 200E to metro station Kobanya Kispest then Metro #3 blue line to Kalvin Ter, for equivalent of less than $4 USD each. It was a 5 minute walk toward the Danube & green Liberty Bridge then right turn into a plaza & another short block (after asking directions) to So Utca (street). Breakfast was amazing & there was hot food in the dining area that we didn't see until after taking yogurt & cereal. The concierge helped us locate our river cruise ship which turned out to be near the Liberty Bridge, so location of the hotel was perfect.

Sofitel Club was amazing, great food, amazing staff, the room service was not that great since only put shampoo and toilerets the first day for two people I had to call to bring some and it was not the same. Since I was in the Club Sofitel level I had Hermes Products then the new ones were a generic brand of low quality! The rest of the stay and staff were amazing !!!!

I have a courtyard facing single room. If I were to choose again, I will opt for a river view single room. The economy single room does not look like the one shown in the advertised photos on the hotel website. My thoughts were that I was given an older room, not refurbished yet. One minor issue was the pillow. It was a bit unfilled and kinda flat to rest my head on. However, I was very satisfied with the helpfulness of the staff and the restaurants and bar are awesome, great view on customer service. They are very friendly and speaks English fluently. I will definitely come back for the experience, just maybe with a better furbished room.
