Staff couldn't be friendlier. We asked them to make a reservation at the Rathaus as it was my daughters 21st birthday. When we came back to our room,we had cake ,wine and flowers with the hotels best wishes.
You could easily walk to some magnificent museums and wonderful architectural buildings. The tube stations are just across the road , as are taxis. It cost 12 euros from the main train station door to door.would love to go again in the future as only saw a tiny part of the city.
We had breakfast included which was really good.would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the city centre through lovely gardens. A little dated but has everything you could need. Very clean and the reception staff were particularly helpful, providing information about trips etc. It was very hot during my stay, air conditioning would have been a bonus, although a fan was provided in my room. Some rooms do have air conditioning so check when booking.
Expedia website stated there is a 24 hour shuttle bus from hotel but hotel did not appear to know anything about it.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, even considering we spoke terrible German! We were quickly checked in to our room which was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We were provided with all the necessary information about breakfast and given a free map of the city.
During the stay the room was ideal; cool, quiet and peaceful. The room was tidied on request and new sheets and towels provided.
Staff were extremely helpful and polite and check out quick and painless.
All in all a wonderful experience!

I chose this hotel, along with several colleagues, for a 5 night stay during a conference we were attending. I had a very nice room--double bed, bar fridge, large deck overlooking a nice garden. My colleagues, however, had rooms that were not much bigger than closets with bathrooms that you could barely turn around in. I did pay more for my room, of course. But none of us had air conditioning which was a serious problem given the 30C+ heat of July. A couple of us were provided with fans, which helped, but it was still uncomfortable for sleeping. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were very nice. I would opt to stay at this hotel again, except for the height of summer.

The hotel staff provide really good information when asked and are very accommodating. There is no air conditioning so it can be very hot in the room even with a fan. The internet does not always work well. However, the hotel is close to the city tram and it will take you to train stations and there are markets, restaurants and banks close by.

A really lovely, spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen (although no oven) in a great location. Staff were lovely and very helpful with excellent English but reception was not open when advertised.

Vienna’s smallest postal district, named after Emperor Joseph I, is a popular residential area with a mix of students and affluent middle classes who colonize restored Biedermeier townhouses and luxury apartments. Its attractions include a complex of Baroque church buildings around the Piaristenkirche, the Josefstadt light-entertainment theatre and a folk art museum.
