This hotel was in a very convenient location, and was a well-presented hotel & room.
However, my shower was incredibly loud and disturbed my next door neighbour. I also thought they could have provided an extra pillow and blanket.
All in all I thought it was good value for money. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and it was basically just a base to come back to between sight seeing.

Friendly staff who spoke good English. We had a spacious comfortable room on the front. Tea making facilities, room safe & Wi-Fi all included in price of room. We visited mid December and Christmas cookies were provided in the foyer. Recommended as a good unpretentious hotel situated within easy reach of the main sites.

We chose this hotel for its location, which was perfect - right near all the spots we cared about. Vienna is quite compact and walkable, although we did buy the weekly transit pass because we're mobility challenged (old). The heart of the city is blocks away. Our room was tiny and not real comfortable overall (seating was two straight-backed, "dining-room" type chairs), but the beds were fine. The breakfast was plentiful and good, and provided in a pleasant room.
There are lots of good restaurants within a few blocks.
Vienna is a wonderful city, which shows itself off really well. It was built with wide boulevards for easy travel, and they leave plenty of viewing angles to see the architecture.
The museums are great, as are the parks. We highly recommend the Kunisthistorisches, Upper Belvedere, Albertina, Wien Karlsplatz, state apartments, Treasury and Schonbronn as must-sees.

This place is cheap, clean, comfortable, and really close to the city center. I would stay here again. But, as other reviewers have noted, reception hours are very limited. Also, the staff are a little awkward to interact with. There was no TV remote in my room, and you couldn't operate the TV manually. When I mentioned this to the staff and requested a remote, they asked, "Why?" And then pointed out that I hadn't mentioned the missing remote before. (I had been too busy to have much time to watch TV prior to then.) It was just a very strange, awkward interaction. But they did ultimately give me a remote, and I wasn't put out by the interaction enough to think that the hotel wasn't a great deal.

This hotel is lovely. The staff members are warm and friendly. They all appeared to be pleased while working. The daily complimentary breakfast is delicious and has a much bigger selection than we expected. I was the happiest to taste really good filter coffee with breakfast and not one of those pre-made, powdered coffee machines. On Sundays, they have a great violinist who plays many of the classic, well-known songs.
The hotel itself is quite quiet. Guests seemed to be families and mostly middle-aged travelers. The noise we experienced in our room was from a bar across the street from our window. It is unfortunate for the hotel that a loud bar is so close to their guest's rooms.
The location is extremely close to the U6 line. Unfortunately for us, this proved to be an unhelpful line and we found ourselves transferring trains quite often. However, this is quite normal in Vienna. Even with transfers the total travel times to any major tourist attraction are minimal.

A really lovely, spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen (although no oven) in a great location. Staff were lovely and very helpful with excellent English but reception was not open when advertised.

Vienna’s smallest postal district, named after Emperor Joseph I, is a popular residential area with a mix of students and affluent middle classes who colonize restored Biedermeier townhouses and luxury apartments. Its attractions include a complex of Baroque church buildings around the Piaristenkirche, the Josefstadt light-entertainment theatre and a folk art museum.
