The hotel was fantastic with a very Morden and hip character. It’s very close to the public transports and shops and restaurants, location was convenient. Very chilled vibe with everything you need inside the hotel. 5/5 from me.

Stayed for 4 nights. Modern, high quality hotel located close to the Belvedere Palace and within walking distance of the city centre. Very comfortable, good sized room (603). Free wifi. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very good gym facilities. Efficient and helpful staff. Easy to reach by the S7 train from the airport to the nearby Rennweg rail station.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Beethoven for our recent trip to Vienna and it could not have been a more perfect hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was first class, the room and facilities were quaint, comfortable and apropos given the history of Vienna, and the location was ideal, with easy access to the Naschmarkt and Karlsplatz and immediate access to the whole city via the U-bahn and public transit. We will absolutely be staying here again. A special thanks to Constanze for being so helpful with recommendations.

We chose the hotel for its center city location. Everything is in walking distance (museums, opera, monuments). The hotel has been in existence for MANY years, family run. We like one-off hotels with character. Rooms are period-type, well-maintained and clean. Ours was extra large with a view to the courtyard. Quiet. Good mattress, lighting in the room, room temperature regulation, water pressure and hot water--all the important items for us. Staff was helpful (great restaurant recommendation). The included breakfast was in a cheerful breakfast room. Copious, fresh food, pleasant staff.
To be aware of: elevator, due to building age, is small and in demand. We like to take the stairs so fine for us.
We found this hotel to be an excellent value for the price and would definitely return.

Vienna’s smallest postal district, named after Emperor Joseph I, is a popular residential area with a mix of students and affluent middle classes who colonize restored Biedermeier townhouses and luxury apartments. Its attractions include a complex of Baroque church buildings around the Piaristenkirche, the Josefstadt light-entertainment theatre and a folk art museum.
