We stayed here for six days, the rooms where lovely, it is right on top of the metro and it only takes 10 minutes to get into Vienna.
Our room was on the ground floor but even opening the window we could not hear the traffic, the bathroom was huge and it was nice to have a kitchen. With a nespress coffee machine.
The views from the top where amazing and I expect on a clear day you can see a long way.
Staff where very helpful and they made you feel welcome.

Very nice, clean room, friendly staff - delicious breakfast with lots of variety and excellent coffee!
only downside was the room was a little on the cool side - it seems heat would shut off from time to time. When we asked, they could turn it on for us quickly by resetting something downstairs, so not really sure what the problem was.

A very small room, but I didn't spend much time there. One night a large family whose children couldn't settle down kept me awake. I asked to change my room, and the proprietor said the only one available would be on the street and more noisy. It was.
So ask for a room not facing the street!

The hotel is conveniently located, once you figure out that you can "even" take the tram to the metro. The metro is 15 min walk and could be a pleasant one early in the morning as you prepare yourself for the sightseeing. There is a "laundromat" facility 10 min walk away (inexpensive instead of using the hotel services). Two big letdowns: staff is simply unhelpful, one had to keep probing them before they can cough up information. Perhaps, they are overwhelmed - but it didn't appear to be. The second is an "expedia trick" - they sell the hotel at a discount, not clearly telling you that there is no breakfast included and you end up paying more than the regular price if you decide to have breakfast (which is usually convenient for the family when you are in a rush). I think it is more of a scam than a trick on expedia's part - and we have encountered this twice during our trip. Not happy with it at all (costed us Euro 44 in one more case per night). By the way, the breakfast spread is quite good and I do recommend having the breakfast here - unless you want to stop by one of the (many) cafes en route to the metro. If the hotel staff were more helpful, I'd rate this higher.
