I had booked a twin room for my friend and I but when we arrived we had been given a double room. There were no twin rooms vacant in the main hotel so we were offered a room in their extension across the road. It was a small room but adequate for our short stay. There was tea/coffee making facilities. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as we thought the price was too expensive. Their were plenty of cafes near by offering breakfast/ meals.

Have just returned from the most amazing 5 night stay at the Imperial. An upgrade on arrival resulted in a fabulous suite overlooking the city. The housekeeping staff kept our room immaculate even supplying free bottled water and daily chocolates. It is well located for walking to all the major architectural sites or using the underground. Very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautiful city

we were upgraded to an executive room and it was just paradise! quiet hotel, well appointed and the room was perfect! Enjoy every moment. It is a bit far from Salzburg old town but being on vacation, walking was not an issue for us. The staff recommended great restaurant near by and really enjoyed them! Would recommend it to all.

Lovely room and very comfortable bed. The only bad design was the fact you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the reception and lift/elevator! Travelling with a pushchair, this made it tiring, and would mean wheelchair users would fit it impossible to check-in/have the breakfast.

Hotel was centrally located and within walking distance to many places we wanted to visit, including the Nordkette train/tram that takes you up to the panoramic view of Innsbruck (http://www.nordkette.com/en/) and the Christmas market in Old Town. Staff was great, restaurant was great, amenities were great. I gave room comfort a 4.0 only because we had two double beds instead of queen beds (which was mentioned in our booking so we expected this). Parking (daily charge) on site under the hotel was convenient and they offered a 3-day pass with in/out privileges for the same price as 2 nights without those privileges. Ask the front desk at check-in about the parking pass.

we had an excellent stay at the hotel just when we checked out we found out that three resturant bills out of many we had which we always paid in cash were recorded unpaid and we were requested to pay them again!
unfotunately, it appears the hotel staff maybe decided they deserve more wages or tips and rolled the bill money we left to thier pockets as tips rather than payment of bills.
