We've stayed at this hotel about 5 times. On all occasions we were very happy with the hospitality shown us. The staff were very polite and always had a smile for one.

"Would recommend"
Pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it actually has some character. So often hotels are bland noisy boxes that you dread staying in but this being a former Post office building has something special. We had a room on the third level that had three large round windows overlooking the Pitt st/George st intersection. The rooms them selves are very quiet, you cannot hear other guests at all, the only sounds are from the occasional noisy bus or car below but general traffic noise was hardly heard. If I was picky I would say the place is due for a freshen up, the pool area especially.

"Loved our shoebox room "
We booked the shoebox room just 2 weeks before our stay and it was by far the cheapest private room we could find. The shoebox room was perfect for what we were after. It was small obviously but had everything you need. The hotel has a great vibe too and a guest lounge with small kitchen etc Great location just 10 mins walk from central station. Highly recommend

"Very good location"
1) When we returned to the hotel one night, we found the coffee mugs we had used in the morning were not replaced with the clean cups. I called the reception and were told that the hotel did not replace used/dirty mugs with clean ones and we had to clean them ourselves. I was astonished to hear that. I have been staying in many hotels around the world. Even in the more basic hotels like Ibis, Travelodge and Premier Inn in London or France do not leave dirty mugs or cups unreplaced. However, when we (three of us) returned to the hotel the following night, we had clean mugs. So why was it different? 2) a $10 deposit was withheld upon checking in at the hotel. When we checked out we were told the deposit would be refunded only after 7-10 days. 3) no free internet in the room. 4) on the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent.

Haymarket is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Haymarket, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Haymarket hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
