We thought this hotel was in a great location, since it was easy to walk to everything in the city. It was close to the central station if you wanted to get a train or bus. They had a wonderful buffet breakfast, that offered a large variety of choices. Our room was a nice size with an additional sitting area, a safe, ironing board, refrigerator and roomy bathroom with all the amenities you would need. Additionally, we want to commend the staff for an outstanding job.
They went over and above to help us locate our luggage, that had gotten lost during transit. The concierge Serhan and the hotel manager John, were instrumental in representing us, with the airlines, to finally get a positive result. This was more than anyone could expect and we were more than pleased with their care and concern.

Awesome location - close to great food spots and shops. Funky decor in reception, made it inviting. Staff really friendly and helpful. I had a great sleep, though expected a larger bed (not 2 singles) for a double room.

Excellent staff and amenities, close and convenient to everything, very clean and tidy and excellent service. Was staying there for a 2 day business conference that was hosted elsewhere but within walking distance.

We spent a night at Rydges to attend several functions in Brisbane and although we live in an outer suburb, really enjoyed our stay. Everything was well delivered with courteous, helpful staff who complimented our excellent room with a stunning view over the river and city. If you want a city view, you should ask for it as half of the rooms look out to the west (away from the river) towards Mt Coot-tha, itself a nice view but perhaps not as unusual as the cityscape.
