"Superb views. Edge of CBD."
The hotel is in a great location. Not in the CBD but a quick walk across the park and you are right in the heart of the shopping district. A few minutes in the opposite direction and you are in the Kings Cross bar and café district. Across the road from the trendy East Sydney and Darlinghurst districts. Hire car outlets opposite the hotel. Main tour buses, and city transport buses, stop in front of the hotel. Supermarket around the corner.

"Hotel overlooks Hyde Park, short walk to CBD."
Lovely, clean room overlooking Hyde Park, was great to get round Sydney from there. Hotel states they have a return airport shuttle but couldn't give me a time that shuttle arrives so expect to pay &40 for taxi or $15/person from museum station but not recommended if you have heavy suitcases, this station has no escalators. Movie channel would've been nice but foxtel & internet quite expensive.

"It has what you need."
My husband & I stayed here for 2 legs of our honeymoon in premium rooms. The first room faced the street and was a little cramped with the wardrobe next to the bed, which is where the safe was located. It was a small room but had all the basics you need, and it was clean. The wifi was very poor in the room, it would only work if we stood in the hallway which was a little frustrating but not the end of the world. Not enough to move rooms for a 3 night stay. When we returned 3 weeks later we were offered our choice of a bathtub or shower. I requested a room with good wifi and we were given just that, with a bathtub. This room had more space, and a closet with better access to the safe. The location is great, lots of food options around and on a quieter street, but close to the action. The staff were friendly and helpful.

"Great Hotel near Oxford St"
The Adge was a great place to stay. We rented a 2 room city view apartment. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The living area was large and the views great. The location is perfect for going out on Oxford St and in Surry Hills. It's also convenient to the city center. The staff was very helpful. When we arrived, they brought up a nice cheese platter. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

"Served our purposes just fine!"
Comfortable enough rooms and good location for our needs whilst on tour in Sydney. It's not opulent by any means but clean and comfortable, spacious too. Decent views of Sydney or even the Park and City if you get the right room.

"Quiet, comfortable and easy access"
The hotel is not luxury and I think a bit overpriced, but I guess that is what you get around Sydney CBD. The room is very similar to the pictures. The window opened up into the middle of the building (no view of anything). The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

"Funky little house in a cool area "
Another warm welcome for our return visit - nice that we were remembered and given a room upgrade! Delightful room with openable windows onto the yard and water fountain - very refreshing on a hot Sydney afternoon. Room had unique colour and character - more like staying in a friend's house than a hotel room. Spotlessly clean, fabulously comfortable bed - only slight gripe was that the lead to the iron wasn't long enough to make use of the good light, so I was ironing in the dark! Complimentary pastries on check-out and copies of Vogue to read - what's not to love? Parking available up the street at Star Car Wash, where they cleaned the car over night. Can't wait to come back!

East Sydney is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in East Sydney, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your East Sydney hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
