"Old World - Elegant and Grand"
We enjoyed our stay, although it was only for one night, grand piano playing near lobby, kind staff, open spaces, wide corridors, elegant decor and a spacious, comfortable room! Some contradictions - carved graffiti on the room 332 door was not welcoming, the hot water was not working in the bathroom vanity and only small amount of internet included.

"Very modern hotel- friendly staff. Very upscale"
The first impression was spectacular! John was great about being there to collect our luggage as soon as we stepped off the transport, found our reservation by the name on our luggage tag, and then had a wonderful conversation with us about our visit to Australia and finding things in common. He took us to our room (which was ready early!!!) and unloaded our luggage. Later he gave us info and direction on finding locations we needed. He is a real asset to this hotel! Way to go John. The other staff, check in, restraurant, etc were friendly as well. Menu and food was great. Breakfast was wonderful as well. One thing to note- there is one glass door that slides between the toilet and the shower and a glass wall between the bathroom and rest of the room. Very modern and cool... But doesn't afford much privacy or extra sleep time if one is in the shower and the other in bed. Otherwise, great room! Wonderful experience and fantastic hotel!

"Not up to Four Seasons Standards"
The public areas and rooms need serious renovation; they look old and out-of-date. You can tell the owners have not spend a penny in a long time. However the service, in general, is very good. Very professional and service-oriented concierge staff.

    Explore Sydney

With golden beaches, dramatic headlands and a scenic harbor, Sydney takes your breath away. Natural beauty lurks around every corner, from its peaceful botanical gardens to the picturesque bays of its waterfront. Yet Sydney is also Australia's largest and most diverse city, offering world-class dining, a buzzing gallery scene and head-turning nightlife.

Leave plenty of time to take in Sydney Harbour. Admire the Harbour Bridge (or get sweaty on a Bridge Climb), ride the ferry to Manly (highly recommended) and catch a show at the Opera House. For spectacular scenery, visit the rugged Harbour National Park, with walking trails, clifftop viewpoints and Aboriginal rock carvings.

Sun-seekers can bask on the sands of Bondi Beach, famous for its crashing waves and beautiful people. And you needn't leave the shoreline when hunger strikes – you’ll find everything from old-fashioned fish-and-chips shops to gilded dining rooms on Darling Harbour. Afterwards, finish the night with a drink at a charming wine bar in Paddington or a vintage pub in the Rocks, the city's oldest district.
