Located in a commercial area (right next to NEC HQ) with limited restaurant options within a reasonable walking distance. The hotel's own restaurant and bar was closed on the weekend when I was there in April, however, the cafe in the lobby area sufficed for light snacks and drinks. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. Obviously this was an excellent 4/5 star hotel in its day - the sort of hotel I personally look out for as they often give great value for the facilities. The hotel has the ground and top 4 floors in the building with a residents' lounge (with free refreshments) and terrace on the 14th floor. 5-10 minute walk from Mita and Tamachi subway stations.

The hotel's location is very convenient since it is close to the "must see" places such as the Tokyo tower, Shiba park, hamarikyu park, Ginza and the train station. The hotel was very clean, the front desk receptionists were great. It would be more comfortable if the room had a space for luggage at least. The room is too small that it is so hard to open up the luggage. There is no room for shoes as well. But overall, the hotel is ok.

I liked the breakfast that was part of the stay. It had both western and Japanese choices. It was nice to start with a salad, Japanese cucumber pickles, miso soup, natto and rice. Coffee was bountiful. They always had cooked fish. The western part was not extensive but croissants and another bread, cheese, jams, and a cooked choice which was sometimes sausage and some form of egg or a cheese macaroni type.

Visitors to japan will realise that the rooms are not very big in general unless you are paying the vastly exaggerated prices of 5 star luxury. My guess would be the average visitor will not be looking on Expedia for the high end hotels.
This hotel had many extras in the room, including amongst others a trouser press, humidifier, and a leg massager.
The room was not large but a good size overall. The view was not fantastic but at least I could see sky and space (without having another building directly opposite).
Would strongly recommend for a short stay. If longer term maybe the room size would be a challenge.
Overall very satisfied.

We stayed at Hotel MyStays Hamamatsucho on our final day of our recent trip to Japan (the 2nd time we stayed there). We arrived before the check in time of the hotel and left our luggage with the reception staffs as our room was not ready. We were pleasantly surprised when we came back later after some last minute shopping to find that the staffs have our room ready and our luggage waiting for us in our room. Such good service! The staffs speak good English and were very polite and helpful. Our queen room was clean, well equipped and spacious for the price... excellent value for money. It's also just 17 minutes away to Haneda Airport via Monorail (express) from the nearby Hamamatsucho JR station.

Located near Hamamatsucho and Tamachi Stations on the Yamanote Line, Shiba is a central spot from which to explore the nightlife of neighboring Roppongi, the upscale shops of Ginza, and the teen fashion scene of Shibuya’s Harajuku. Also nearby is Tokyo Tower, the 333-meter replica of the Eiffel Tower that offers views of Mount Fuji on a clear day.
