"easy to get to Tamachi Station or the Mita subway "
It was small but the few amenities in the room included a fridge, hot water pot and daily coffee bag, green tea bag, and a bottle of water. The supplies for the bathroom come in large containers which made it easier to use. The bath is small but much deeper as per Japanese style so the water will come up to the shoulders. The downside is only 1 elevator. I have it much easier because I am fluent in Japanese. There are many cheap eats near Tamachi station on the other side of it.

The good: We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we were a group of 3 adults and 1 child (4yo). It is within walking distance from Tokyo Tower, Zoijoi temple and shiba park, so you can cover all three and more within half a day. The nearest train/subway station is an easy 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat close by and a Family Mart only a few paces from the front door of the hotel. There is also a 7-11 very near with an ATM that accepts American cards. Both family mart and 7-11 carry decent food (e.g. Pasta, chicken, hot dogs, sushi, bento boxes, ramen, udon, etc) in case you're on a food budget. They will also warm your food for you and they're 24hrs! Starbucks is just down the street too, for those of us who like their coffee or collect their mugs. the hotel staff speaks English and they are very helpful. They also have a bus that can't take you to and from both Narita or Haneda airport for a fee, it's more expensive to and from Narita. Housekeeping replaced our slippers everytime they cleaned the room and gave us new robes each time as well.
The not so good: The lobby smelled like sulfur whenever the fountain shut off at night and most of the hotel looked very dated, other parts were newer/renovated, not sure if it cost more to stay in the newer rooms? Our room was small, which is expected in Tokyo, plus we didn't plan to be in our room much except to sleep. It t was very hot, despite Turning the AC on high, we cracked the window.

This hotel is located very close to the Tamachi station on the loop line and to Mita station on the Toei Mita line.
We found the staff all very helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier. The self-service area with teas and bath salts was great, and we used it regularly. The window in the room opened, which was nice, and the block out screens really worked well!
It's close to a quite few restaurants. We loved the Rocky Kanai izakaya near the bridge on near the station, and there was a great ramen place nearby too. Rocky Kanai doesn't have an English menu, and the menu doesn't have much much in the way of pictures, but we were lucky enough to get wait staff that spoken some English and were able to tell us what some of the dishes were and make recommendations. There's also a Lawson and Sunkus close, and a grocery store not far from the station.
We weren't a big fan of the breakfast, limited choices and the same every day. It doesn't look like there is any washing powder available in the laundry, which I think would be a great service for them to offer. I think all hotels in Japan must get their mattreses and pillows in the same place, very uncomfortable.

Located near Hamamatsucho and Tamachi Stations on the Yamanote Line, Shiba is a central spot from which to explore the nightlife of neighboring Roppongi, the upscale shops of Ginza, and the teen fashion scene of Shibuya’s Harajuku. Also nearby is Tokyo Tower, the 333-meter replica of the Eiffel Tower that offers views of Mount Fuji on a clear day.
