"Clean and new"
Our room was smaller than expected. For two people, there really wasn't much room to have two full size suitcase to be opened at the same time. But the room was new and clean. One issue though, we had requested for a nonsmoking room, but since our room was on the second floor and faces the back street, the room was constantly smelling like cigarettes.

"Great hotel"
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. It was in a great location, close to good restaurants, train stations and shopping destinations. We were lucky enough to get a room on the 26th floor with a really nice view. Even though the room was a bit small, this didnt bother us as we were out sightseeing for most of the day. We had room service everyday- fresh towels and sheets and ample complimentary toiletries provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was really easy.

"Good place to stay in Shinjuku"
The room is small like all Apa hotel, however if you want to stay in Shinjuku, the hotel is an amazing choice. It's 1 minute walk to subway station, 5 minutes walk to Shinjuku station. The room is clean, nice staff, the bed is soft, good food. If anything that could be improved, I will say please offer more choice for breakfast, no one wants the same food for 4 days.

"PERFECT location in Shinjuku. Very nice hotel"
I went to Tokyo on a girls trip. We stayed at the Gracery Hotel in Shinjuku and were completely happy with it. It's a very nice and new hotel. It is directly in the center of everything and only about a 5 minute walk to the main train station and metro. The wifi in the hotel was great and even better was the pocket wifi rental for $10 for your entire stay so you could have access while out in the city. That was SO convenient. Another cool bonus at this hotel is the giant Godzilla head on the roof. You can access it for photos. Fun! Highly recommend this hotel for any Tokyo stay.

"west side of Shinjuku station. "
This hotel is not right in the center of Shinjuku station but it really depends which subway line you take. It's about 15mins walk if you come out from JR Yamanote line. It's closer if you take Keio line (which is less than 10mins walk to the hotel). Although it's a bit far to walk to the east side of Shinjuku where all the shops and restaurants are located, the location of this hotel is still fairly convenient. The airport limousine bus picks you up right in front of the hotel and the staff are very helpful. We kept our luggages at the bell counter and when the bus came, all we needed to do was to hand them our luggage tickets and board! They saved us the hassle from moving our heavy suitcases around and bring them onto the bus. Awesome service! The room was very clean, the bathroom was quite small but everything was well accommodated. If you want to be in the heart of the shopping district, I'd recommend Prince hotel on the east side, but if you're not only doing shopping for your entire stay in Japan, I think Keio plaza is a better choice for you. The subway lines closer to the west side of Shinjuku are actually quite convenient too. Keio line takes you to Sanrio Puroland (hello kitty) directly. Odakyu line has direct trains to Hakone (the hotspring town, 1hr from Tokyo).

"Very affordable, right on the subway"
The rooms are small (Japanese style) but face it, you are in Tokyo, you aren`t going to spend a lot of time in your room. Subway station is right beside, you are one stop from Shinjuku station and surrounded by reasonable restaurants and bars.

Tokyo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tokyo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tokyo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
