"Nice stay "
Have a great time to stay there. Location was great for everything. Thanks for free exchange to a double bed room so my two sons could have their own bed at the last night in hotel.

"Great hotel, but the area not so much."
The hotel was fabulous. Great staff, the bed was comfy (pillows kind of sucked) and the room was very clean. Yes, the rooms are very small- but it's Tokyo- things are going to be small. However, for the uneducated- let me inform you about the area. Kabukicho is known (as we found out once we arrived) as the red light district and also known to have Yakuza activity. This is not an area for families with children- a lot of "adult only" activities in this area if you catch my drift. So, if you are looking for a hotel room to just drop your stuff and sleep at night- this is perfect for you. If you don't want to walk through nudity town to get to your room and you want a lot of space- this is not the hotel for you.

"Shinjuku Granbell convenient"
Our trip was in June 2016 and we were a bit surprised that were able to tour without getting lost. Shinjuku Granbell is a bit secluded but conveniently located/walking distance near the night life, public transport ie bus, subway. It is also near to popular restuarant and shopping. My room was compact but had a TV, a small refrigerator, kettle, etc. We were supplied with daily toiletries, slippers, robes etc. There is a restuarant on site, food ok. Staff were courteous and the free WiFi worked. They encourage energy efficiency. Reasonable priced...and suitable for visitors on a budget.

"Nice hotel with all amenities. "
The hotel has all basic amenities for a short stay. Front desk staff are courteous and helpful. Room size is pretty small, but compensated with plenty of storage areas. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay for anyone planning a short trip to Tokyo!

"Nice stay in Tokyo"
This hotel is easy to get to from the Shinjuku station: just ask for hotel with Godzilla, everybody will understand. You may arrange different sightseeing tours right from the hotel. I arrived in the early evening and wanted a bus tour for next morning. One office staff said that everything is booked. I returned in tour hours and another clerk arranged the same trip without any problem. So, be aware of this.

We left another unsatisfactory booking early, and were very happy that Asakusa View Hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, the view is genuinely great, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is competent and attentive.

"Easy excess hotel in the busy district of Tokyo"
We're arriving at 6am so has paid an extra night to ensure we can get changed and take a little rest before heading out. The staff are extremely inflexible and has advised my friends cannot even take the lift up with me because only hotel guest can access the lift. This is totally non sense as the other two rooms will be checking in at 3pm anyway, we only needed somewhere to rest and get changed hence why paid an extra night for 1 room. I've travelled to many places where hotel provide early checkin at no cost as long as they have availablity however not in this hotel! Considering they barely have a lounge area and no one for guest to rest. Ending up paying 1000 yen per hour per room until 3pm! Not impressed at all! Room wise, very tiny, the shower is so small, but at least its all tidy and clean and offers anything guest need. For guests they prepare shower cap, hair band, brush and body scrub which is really thoughtful.

"Excellent Hotel"
Enjoyed it here very mch, great shopping within the Plaza, and good restaurants. Especially enjoyed the Tepanyaki on our last night. Only discovered the out side pool on the last day, regrettably, it looked great. Whatever cuisine you like is there for you. The staff were very helpful in explaining the subway and helpful with anything we wanted to do or go and see. High end shopping just a short walk away and a beautiful park also close by. Cannot fault it.

Tokyo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tokyo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tokyo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
