Great stay

Check in took a bit longer, as i had a trainee checking in but its fine. The service overall was great and willing. Their english was surprisingly. Very good. The hotel was clean. A couple of items i dislike. Laundry room was always full, but dont see it as a negative, at least they have it. Other is the drunks outside on the sidewalk but you have to understand what area you are staying in. Location overall was great. Would stay again

Location is perfect, from arrival, limousiné buss from the airport drops you off almost in front the hotel walkable for dining, shopping, clubs, etc. Hotel cleaning services are limited to changing pyjamas and towels unless you stay more then 3 nights, we stay six nights and allowed to two cleaning services and when it was done very basic.

The Godzilla theme makes the property unique. The hotel towers above the other buildings and lies in the heart of the entertainment/red light district. The hotel was sparkling clean with impeccable service. The rooms could have been a little bit bigger even though I was traveling solo. Two people would struggle with their belongings. Laundry service was excellent.

This is a very good Hôtel smack in the middle of Kabukicho. My room was clean, ready at check in and comfortable. while my room was “Tokyo-size” (smaller than most in US) everything worked and I appreciated having the small refrigerator. Kabukicho is safe, just loud and a little grimy. Shinjuku station is everything you have read - busy and convenient for getting anywhere in Tokyo.

The Godzilla theme is really the highlight of the hotel itself, the area is great for partying and nightlife, however expect some noise from your room. The room itself was small for the price (comparing to similar Osaka stay). The staff were friendly, final statement.

It's pretty awesome to stay at the hotel with the giant Godzilla on the top of it. Unfortunately the terrace was closed while I was there but it did not take away from my stay. Great staff. Amazing location - short walk to Shinjuku station, lots of great eats around, and plenty of people gazing to keep you entertained for days.

Area is in Kabukicho which is the red light district. It is unsafe at night. Homeless people just a few steps from hotel entrance all day and night. If you are traveling kids, choose a different hotel The Godzilla head and memorabilia can be seen at the lobby so a lot of non guests hang around the lobby. The staff had us being our luggage all the way back down to the lobby when we wanted to upgrade our hotel room without even offering help with our luggage. We expected better customer service from the staff since this is supposed to be a “luxury” hotel. They seem to be overwhelmed with work or something is off. Rooms are nice and clean. They have a toilet separate from the bathroom.

While the room itself was a bit small, it was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We especially liked the pajamas provided. The hotel is nice and the lobby/lounge area is a great place to hang out. Be prepared, the area of Shinduku is a little gritty, but we felt safe in and around the hotel. We also want to acknowledge the staff. We left our valuables behind in our safe and all were held and recovered the next day.

Amazing Stay!

It was such a great hotel. Especially since its in such a touristy/busy location. The only thing I had to "complain" about is that the bed is hard, but I'm an American and used to a soft fluffy bed, and honestly, after walking all day, the bed didnt matter. The staff was so kind and welcoming! Also be midful, the basic rooms like I had are small, but it didnt bother my husband and I at all, cause lets face it, most tourists aren't in Japan for the size of the hotel room. Its in such a great location! Close to food, shopping, the train and pretty much everything you need!

There's a 50 foot bust of Godzilla on the lobby floor 8 stories up on the building and it's in the heart of Shinjuku. What's not to like?
