The air conditioner didn't work unless set to 65. The coffee was weak, but we went out for coffee after the first cup. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and our room was nicely tidied and cleaned every day. Check-in and check-out were a breeze!

The building is older, the rooms are accessed via outside walkways. This property is at the intersection of 290 and I35 right behind the IHOP. The room was clean and the pillows were nice. I'd stay here again, but only because I always look for the absolute best deal.

We were happy with our room, but found a few little cleanliness issues. The breakfast was good, but was missing a few of the things that we're used to. It seemed like they were short staffed and we found the front desk to be lacking in competence. When we had a problem, the manager did call me and talk to me about it, which was good.

The hotel was in good location close to university and other major stores like target. Hotel was having some construction done and had limited parking near room. Seems like hotel could use some updating but overall was a clean hotel. Issues with basic amenities. Plus the festival was going on so it was too be expected limited rooms.

North Central Austin is home to thriving Latino neighborhoods, Chinatown, and Highland Mall. Austin’s ethos of egalitarianism is evident here as college students, retirees, and blue-collar workers live side-by-side. FM 2222 leads to Mount Bonnell, which offers panoramic city views. Be sure to visit Threadgill’s on North Lamar, the beer joint where Janis Joplin groomed her voice and persona.
