"Room with a view"
Nice is a great city on the Riviera and makes the perfect base for exploring this beautiful coastline. It is easy to get to from the airport so overall door it is to door a pretty quick journey. There is something for everyone good shopping either in the main shopping area or the markets in the old town. Culture vulture won't be dissapointed as there are some amazing galleries such as Matisse or the Maeght Foundation a bus ride away to St Paul de Vence. Just walking the length of the Promenade des Anglais is an upliftng experience.

"Above and beyond exceptional!"
We stayed in Nice for 33 days and on our last week we checked into the Boscolo to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. What a treat to stay at a spa resort hotel in the centre of Nice, the staff were exceptional, the room was amazing and the spa was wonderful. To say we felt pampered is an understatement- the staff brought us chocolates at night before bed, held the door for us when we left or returned to the hotel, but most of all they went over the top when they sent my wife and I a card, macaroons and champagne for our anniversary and my wife's birthday. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the manager were pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay Thank you Boscolo for the wonderful memories.

Villa Rivoli

10 Rue De Rivoli, Nice - Map
"Fine building with huge potential"
Welcomed by good staff and owner/manager. Room on top floor, no lift, one large case - tough going. They could have allocated some staff to assist with the 42 stairs from reception. Room met all expectations for comfort and cleanliness. Shower and washing arrangements basic but also clean. Part of choice of this hotel was its style and in quiet area - both fine. One item infuriated me, internet reception in room. Internet dropped in and out by the minute, literally, often unavailable at all, with strange messages. Sadly lots of evening staff had no idea what was happening, so that was really unacceptable. Not being able to access email system meant my responsibilities to personal relationships with relations back home could not be met. Staff were mostly excellent during daytime, but ok to poor in evening, when you needed most help.

AC Hotel by Marriott Nice

59 Promenade des Anglais, Nice - Map
"Mariott AC Nice"
Although the hotel is in a great location, near Promenade des Anglais and it has been renovated, the rooms are not well maintained, some fixtures are loose, the cleaning isn't thorough, the renovation in the rooms isn't professional enough, it's a very cheap work, acceptable but very cheap. There is also a moldy smell, probably from the cooling system, putting some air freshener in the ventilation might help this hotel to be less smelly in the hallways. I had the biggest room in the hotel (the executive suite) but although the design is nice, the overall finish is deplorable. The staff is very good, they speak English and probably other languages, they are very helpful and professional. They have a parking (it should be complementary for Suites though), the breakfast is nice and complete, and the complementary Internet and Evian bottles everyday refill is a must and that includes coffee machines in the Suites with Nespresso recharges. The doormen are great and very helpful.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Nice City Centre hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
